We have so many favorite hang out spots in Lexington now that it’s hard to believe I’m adding another one to list but with the way this city is blowing up I suppose I better get used it! Friday night we went down to National Provisions to check out their new Beer Hall and hang out with a few friends. It was the perfect end to a long week and a relaxing beginning to our weekend. Just look at this place – the atmosphere is fantastic. We didn’t eat but I saw several wonderful looking dishes make their way to other customers, so I’m really looking forward to going back to grab lunch or brunch here soon! Apparently there is also another side of the establishment that is a boulangerie. I realized after we left that I have seen a ton of gorgeous photos of the Boulangerie and have heard lots of good things about their delicious pastries! Oh Lexington, you’re making it extremely difficult to just stay home and be content with cooking my own food!

This looks and sounds like mine and Scott's kind of place! I would have already tried the food! And I do love your hair.
Lexington sounds amazing, and I hope to see it one day on a cross country road trip. It's kind of a good and bad thing when small cities we love/live in grow. We want growth so there is more to do and so the city flourishes, but with growth comes more people and crowds and the negatives that might come along with that. Nevertheless, I think Lexington is safe from becoming L.A., which I dread, and hopefully it stays that way forever! -Jess L
