Polka Dot Business

This is one of the very few outfits that I own that I deem “business appropriate”. I’m honestly not sure if it actually is, but no one at work seemed to be appalled that I wore this when we had the client onsite so I’ll take that as a good sign. This is one of my favorite Modcloth dresses with a vintage skirt worn over it! Nate bought the dress for me a few Christmases ago. It’s pretty short on me now so I can’t wear it without tights and I certainly can’t wear it to work without a skirt over it! I threw in some of my favorite gold accessories just for fun – my gold glitter flats have become my go-to shoes for every outfit. I literally don’t want to wear any other shoes.

This past weekend was a lot of fun. It was a nice ending to an extremely crazy work week! On Saturday morning I met Kristie at her place and we went wedding dress shopping with her Mother-in-law and Sister-in-law (to be!). It’s pretty ridiculous how much I love helping/being present for stuff like this! I can’t help but think back on how much fun it was to try on wedding dresses so I get super excited for my friends! I’m kind of a nerd, I know. She found a dress – so I’d say it was a successful shopping trip! Later in the day Nate and I made our way over to the mall to pick out a few new dress shirts for him and I invested in some new makeup from Sephora! Nate and I will be looking good for all of the upcoming weddings now. ;] I can’t believe Ashley’s wedding is this weekend! On Friday we’ll have the rehearsal dinner and then it’ll be a fun girls night before the big day! Ah, I can’t wait – I told y’all – I’m such a nerd about seeing my friends happy!I hope you all have a great Monday!!
