The second part of day one of our trip to San Francisco was just as lovely as the first. We caught a cab from the wharf up to Coit Tower, people watched in Washing Square park, stopped in at the world famous Vesuvio Cafe, and explored Jack Kerouac alley (such neat artwork!).

I am loving the shift in my blog design down to one sidebar. My blog has always been geared more toward photography than anything, obviously! What is a style/lifestyle blog without photos of life and style?! It’s always frustrated me to have such small pictures on my blog because I felt like so much detail was missing, but not any more! What do you think of the larger photos? Maybe there are people out there who really wish they didn’t have to see every detail of my face? Ha!

Just looking at these pictures makes me miss this day so much! Lounging around in the grass at Washington Square park with tons of other people just beacause was so foreign to me. Having such a pretty place to just hang out and people watch or relax – there is nothing like that here or anywhere I’ve ever lived or been.

Have you been to any of these places in San Francisco? I love traveling places that so many other people have probably also been! It’s even more fun now that it’s so easy to “know” people on the internet and think about those people being in the same place as you at a different time. I say that like knowing people on the internet is a new thing for me .. and I honestly can’t remember a time when I didn’t have friends online. It just wasn’t quite as socially acceptable back then. ;]

I haven't been to San Fran before but we'll be there for a few days on our road trip next month! I really want to go to Washington Square park now!!
And I love the new big pictures!
