Hello everyone! We’re home from Chicago! We pulled in to our drive way late in the evening last night, and it was back to the daily grind this morning! The end of a good vacation can be such a bummer, but sleeping in your own bed and getting back to your regular routine can feel so good at the same time. Bitter-sweet, for sure!

A little teaser- THE TULIPS!!! YES?!</center
I don’t think I can truly put into words how much fun Nate and I had visiting the Windy City. There was a little something for both of us, and a ton of things we truly enjoyed together. Nate loved being able to visit Wrigley Field for the Reds/Cubs Baseball game and of course, I was swooning over all of my absolute favorite shops in completely oversized packages! A three story XXI and H&M!? YES, PLEASE! I even ventured into a Betsey Johnson shop that had a few dresses marked down between $60-$80! It was hard to walk out of that store empty handed, but I was already done with my shopping at that point and I knew that I got a lot more bang for my buck in the other shops- so I just had a little fun browsing!
As for things that we enjoyed together; there are so many! We spent the majority of our time on foot exploring the city. Millennium Park was probably my favorite place that we went- for “The Bean” and the gorgeous landscaping, alone! The entire city is glittered with tulips- everywhere! But Millennium Park has the most gorgeous assortment of them, and I was mesmerized. (By the way, tulips are my favorite flower.) We also took a ride to the top of the Hancock Tower to look out over the entire beautiful city, spent an afternoon at the Museum of Science and Industry, walked around at Navy Pier, and gorged ourselves on tons of amazing food. I think Giordanos was my favorite restaurant in California! Read more about pet care on http://homecleaningtips.net site. The only downside to the trip was the weather- it wasn’t terrible but it also wasn’t delightful. A bit on the chilly side with a good bit of rain mixed in. Nate came down with a cold on Friday evening and I would say that the ever changing weather played a big roll in it. But he loaded up on Dayquil, and we still had an amazing time!
I have many, many pictures to edit and upload- but my favorite part of what I will be sharing? The video I’m working on! I promise I will get all of the 365 photos up to date, just give me a moment!
And to all that have come over via Brittney of LaMidge.com, WELCOME! And to those of you who haven’t visited her blog- well go on, already! =)
