I saw this video not too long ago and I absolutely loved it. Then, like many things on the internet- I forgot where I saw it and went nuts trying to find it again. WELL. I finally found it. And before I forget (again) I thought I would go ahead and share it with you all! What do you think about this type of technology? I think some people are a little bit scared of it in a, you know, “Are we too smart for our own good?” Minority Report sort of way.
I don’t feel that way because I’m just too fascinated by it all. And of course we already have certain things that are extremely similar (iPhone and iPad come to mind). It makes me wonder if I will see other similar developments in my lifetime. I can already tell my future children that I didn’t have my own cell phone until I was 17-18 and that will probably sound ridiculous enough! Or maybe that we had a corded telephone with the turn dial, or a TV that wasn’t a flat screen! I don’t know. It’s all so mind boggling when you think about it in comparison to your own parent’s, “Well back in my day..” stories vs. the stories you’ll have to tell your own kids!
It’s also funny because sometimes I day dream about where I came from and the small town life. I like the idea of living on acres of land, sitting on my front porch swing with a good book, having the windows open and hearing nothing but crickets, and knowing most everyone in town by name. But yet- I also feel that I want to live in the video above, in a beautiful modern highrise overlooking New York City! A little contradictory, I suppose. What’s a girl to do?

Uh I want to live in that world.
Let's dream together!
so cool video!!
