I took a ride through my neighborhood around sunset yesterday and brought my DSLR along. The temperature was perfect, low 70’s with a nice breeze. This will be my first Fall with a bicycle and I’m a little bit too excited to ride around in cozy sweaters, leggings, and boots. Florida never offered sweater wearing temps for biking. It did, however, offer a much flatter surface. Riding a bike in my neighborhood is actually a bit of a work out! ;] I’m just thankful I don’t live in San Francisco! (Not really, I love San Francisco.)
My only bicycle gripe? I need a basket. Baskets are surprisingly expensive .. so I’ve been putting it off. I really, really want one that is made for pets with the cage top enclosure, because I’m psychotic and I think that taking a bunny on a bike ride would be awesome. Unfortunately, they would probably both find the entire experience terrifying and not fun or awesome at all. So, I will probably buy a cliche looking little wooden basket and ride around with fresh flowers in it… because that’s what I’ve seen everyone on Pinterest doing.
Time to make pasta salad (I didn’t get around to it last night)! <3

the photos are beautiful. especially the last one.
Thanks Erica!! I thought the light might be too dark when I took them, but I was pleasantly surprised when I uploaded them. 🙂
I adore this post & the photos are so gorgeous!! And riding around in the fall while wearing cozy knits sounds like heaven!! xo
Thank you, dear! I hope we get enough of a Fall this year to truly enjoy it! It never got horribly cold here last year but we went from Summer to Winter pretty quickly, and it wasn't exactly biking weather. Crossing my fingers!
