Have you ever thought about how fun it would be to have a grown up tea party? Well if you haven’t – you will now! My friend Kalen is basically a party planning queen. She has the sweetest heart and loves to have her friends over to her house for treats and crafts! Recently she’s gotten into tea (the fancy kind) and has even started selling it just for fun. Did you know that was a thing? Me neither. We had a delicious salad, fruit, a cold organic strawberry swirl tea (!!!), Chocolate Banana Vanilla Matcha Milkshakes (guilt free), a hot black tea called “bluest blueberry”, and the BEST chai-infused chocolate chip cookies for dipping in the tea. We also made the prettiest photo frames! I am thinking I need to share a little tutorial on how we made them because they turned out so cute and they were so simple to make. I am probably going to make a hundred of them and put them everywhere.


PS: I am so obsessed with my new Betty Jeffries skirt. I wore it over an open-bow-back floral dress. The yellow flowers on the blue dress matched perfectly so I wore the tulle skirt over it to turn the dress in to a top! I shared a few Instagram stories yesterday that showed my hot pink heels as well! I rarely have a reason to wear tulle skirts and hot pink heels. I’d say a tea party is the perfect occasion!



You may have also seen via Instagram that I received my Madison Reed hair color kit in the mail. I am planning to do a separate post on that but it is hard to ignore how vibrant my hair is in these photos, so I had to mention it. I am IN LOVE with how it turned out. I was able to do it so quickly while Landon napped, just before getting ready and heading out the door to the party. These pictures seriously bring me so much joy. I had so much fun hanging out with these ladies. It’s important to find your people, you know? The people who are into the same silly stuff that you are into. Like tea parties, photo shoots, and crafting. ;] We all need a little break from reality now and then. This was just what I needed!
