Rain, Naps, & Bunnies

Rainy Weekends At Home
We’ve been seeing a lot of rain here in Kentucky. Sometimes a rainy morning at home with a napping husband (who woke up at the crack of dawn to go for a run) and two little bunnies is just what I need, and these photos are from one such morning! I spent my quiet time baking and listening to the rain hit against the kitchen windows. Sometimes quiet is just what I need.

Isn’t Freckles just, HUGE? HE has gotten so big. We have been working really hard to give both bunnies as much play time as possible before we leave on vacation. Our bunny-sitter will come and feed them, but letting them out can be a little bit of a disaster if you don’t watch them constantly. And I don’t really like putting that kind of crazy burden on the bunny-sitter. If I turn around for 7 seconds and a chunk of carpet is missing – I want it to be my fault. Ya know?! I wish bunnies could be a tiny bit less destructive, but really that is my only complaint.

We are leaving on Friday morning to head to Florida and I have so much left to do – at work, at home – everywhere! I haven’t packed a single thing and I’ve only made a small, very unorganized list. Here’s hoping I can get all of my laundry washed and packed in record time. Whew!
