Winter Floral.

Another “not so Wintry” outfit to share today! Though I can report that it is actually pretty chilly out now. This outfit is from last week, before it rained for 4 days solid and the temperature dropped drastically. It’s just been lovely, let me tell ya.

This outfit is a pretty serious Target advertisement! The hat, the cardigan, the tights- all Target! Definitely didn’t do that on purpose, but I guess now you know where I shop the most. The cardigan was a “have to buy” though, literally. I wore a black cardigan into Target a few weeks ago, got hot, wrapped it around my purse strap (like I typically do), and it fell off somewhere in the store. I searched everywhere and it was nowhere to be found. I don’t lose things, ever. On the rare occasion that I do, my anxiety goes into overdrive. I was not happy, to say the least. I bought this one as a replacement because it was dark and freezing by the time we left. If we had just been going home I probably wouldn’t have spent the money on it, but we were on our way out and I didn’t have a jacket. Fail.. and win, because I love the glittery sparkles on my new one!

And this hat? I wear it a lot. More than a person should wear anything. It goes with everything, it’s warm, and just overall perfect for bad hair days of all kinds. I want one in every color.. but since I can’t have them all I think this was a good neutral choice! I love to crochet but I can only do very simple, basic things. I would love to learn to crochet a hat similar to this one. Not entirely sure it would be cheaper than buying one, but it would definitely be more fun to say that I made it! I’ve been toying with the idea of making jewelry and hair accessories to open an Etsy shop, so maybe I could add crochet berets to the list?! I’ve wanted to open my own Etsy for so long but my ideas go in so many different directions and I’ve yet to settle on one. I just need to try my hand at a few different things and see what I love the most! There are so many people doing so many similar things and it gets a little discouraging to think about it. I have a lot I want to expand on with this website – a shop, tutorials, freebies, and reasonably priced design services for self-hosted WordPress blogs. I’m excited for the months ahead, for sure!
