This has been another crazy week! I know, I always say that don’t I? It’s always the truth! On Monday I received the Sienna Ray Makayla bag in the mail. You might remember me telling you all about Sienna Ray’s Wanderlust project that I was asked to be a part of. If you need a refresher, check it out here! Anyway, after the bag made it to a few other ladies around the states it landed on my doorstep here in Kentucky! I’ve had such a lovely week with this pretty purse and I’ll be sad to see her go!

The second I saw this bag I knew I wanted to do something a little… edgy. The gold studs just give off that vibe to me. But I’m a fairly girly gal and I wanted to be true to that as well! So? A dress with a feminine silhouette in a pastel leopard print did the trick! I paired it with simple gold accents in my jewelry and a matchy, matchy heel that just happened to be the exact color of the Makayla! This purse can be worn a few different ways, but this particular way was my favorite. I am a giant purse lady and the Makayla was accommodating to most all that I like to tote around. Any downsizing I had to do was a blessing in disguise for my back and shoulders. ;] It has a nifty little iPad sleeve, so that made me wish I had an iPad to test it out on. Hint, hint to my Husband. Heh!

Nate’s marathon is early tomorrow morning. We arrived in the city in the early afternoon, went and picked up his packet, and grabbed lunch. People have traveled from all over to run in The Flying Pig Marathon here in Cincinnati and there are runners everywhere! It’s so fun to be amongst the hustle and bustle, gearing up for a big event. I spent a few hours making two signs (perfectionist) to hold up as he runs by. Two hours for him to see a sign for half a second, but it’s worth it. I just want him to know how proud I am!

Make sure to pop over to the Sienna Ray Wanderlust blog to see where the Makayla bag has traveled, how it’s been styled, and to find out how you can get your hands on your own!

Gorgeous bag! I'm such a purse girl, too! Love the outfit. xo
=) Thank you, Stephanie!
Love how high your sock bun sits on your head. I can't get mine that high.
The key is getting the pony tail ridiculously high! I use a hair tie that has little grip things on it so it stays tight. And I also use a kid's t-ball sock with the toe cut off so there's a lot of sock to roll!
Love this outfit, purse, and hairstyle – so cute! This is my new favorite hairstyle of yours!
Thank you, Kalen. <3 It's my go-to style for dirty hair I don't feel like washing. It's working out well. 😉 I wanna see you rock a sock bun. 😀
