Landon’s First Haircut at Ms. Holly’s Barbershop
Yesterday Landon got his first REAL haircut. We had a great experience at Ms. Holly’s Barbershop located in the Hamburg area in Lexington, KY. I researched different options all around town and kept landing on Ms. Holly’s Barbershop due to all of the good reviews from other moms. Their website says that they welcome kids of all ages and Holly will even do house calls for autistic children who may have difficulty coming into the shop for a haircut – isn’t that wonderful?! I can tell you, they did not disappoint us!

What I Wore: Peacocks & Pearls Floral Romper
I stopped into Peacocks & Pearls in Lexington, KY after my hair appointment. The second I tried on this romper – I knew it would be mine! The floral pattern, the fit, the flowly material, the POCKETS, the color palette – LOVE. I knew black tights would look perfect under it to make it a bit more appropriate for the current season. I think it will work great in the Spring and Summer as well. The colors are a bit “fall” but there are so many colors in it that I can easily pull a springy green or peach into focus with the right accessories.

Kentucky Favorites: The Farmers Market
It’s funny. Every year as we start to slip from the warm days of summer into the cooler temperatures of fall I can’t help but feel excited. This past fall was no exception and I was probably even more excited…
