A Lexington, Kentucky Maternity Photo Session With Melissa & Jimmy

I am thrilled to have had the chance to shoot a maternity photo session for Melissa & Jimmy a few weekends ago as they’re preparing for the arrival of their precious baby girl in December! I have had the pleasure of getting to know the both of them over the last several years and am so happy to call them close friends! Jimmy and Nate played baseball together in school and I’m so thankful that they have remained friends all of these years. I can’t wait for our little ones to play together. And I’m totally willing to sacrifice myself and hold the baby while Melissa enjoys a nap or a bath. I am so selfless, aren’t I? 😉

I admit that even though I know them very well I was nervous to take these photos for them! I tend to be hard on myself and undervalue what I know I am capable of. I certainly have a lot I can improve upon and having this kind of practice is so helpful! I am so grateful that they asked me to take these for them. They were so patient with me while I led them around in circles in the freezing cold, haha!
