I have the MOST FUN any time I’m in front of Michelle’s camera. She is so fun to hang out with and it ends up being the best girl time + hair and makeup! Y’all know I have 4 kids and I work from home.. I don’t get to feel fancy very often! If you like laughing until your cheeks hurt (your face cheeks) and feeling 🔥 - book a shoot with her! 10/10 highly recommend.

Thank goodness for spring. 🌸 2026 has been kin Thank goodness for spring. 🌸

2026 has been kind of a weird, wild ride so far, but full of good things. I started a new job! And that has taken up a lot of my time (in a good way), so I’ve been a little bit quiet around here.

I’m trying as hard as I can to prioritize myself more these days. Finally went to the doctor and did some blood work. Turns out, I’m severely anemic. I’m hoping I’ll start feeling better and little more awake after I start my iron. 😅 Maybe I can lay off the coffee a little bit. (J/k)

I can’t believe it’s almost April after we went through 3 years of January, but I’m not mad about it! Ready to relax outside on patios with family/friends and enjoy our kiddos running around. We made it. 🖤

And he said this to his social media loving picture taking wife who is finally feeling the sunlight on her face after months of seasonal depression. 🤪 Might just turn this into a Nate appreciation account. Stay tuned.😉

Day 30 of 365 Days of Marriage

Hallelujah! It was “warm” today. Okay so it was like ..43 degrees. But I think it may’ve reached 50 for about 10 minutes and THE SUN WAS OUT. I don’t remember the last time I saw the sun, and that is not an exaggeration. Well, besides yesterday.. but we stayed in so it was kind of like it didn’t happen.

We started our day off by heading over to my In-Law’s for lunch- which was amazing, by the way! We had pork roast, veggies, and a yummy salad with all kinds of berries and nuts. I’ve been craving raspberries! We hung out over there and visited a bit and then headed off to Target to pick up a few things I needed, and then over to Joseph Beth to browse through a few books/magazines. There are huge windows overlooking a pretty little pond with comfy chairs nearby, so we always enjoy spending a couple hours in there just hanging out together and reading a little! This is usually a Spring/Summer time ritual so I was excited because it’s been a few months!

After we were done there we ended up near one of my favorite local vintage stores- Street Scene! So of course we had to stop in and take a look. Nate had never been in with me and I really wanted him to see it. I new I didn’t have any money to spend but I still love looking at all of their amazing items. The store actually goes back quite a ways to the left from what you can see in this picture- the clothing/shoe section is back there complete with cute little changing rooms for you to try on any vintage treasures that you find! I also absolutely love all of the handmade jewelry and headbands that are made by various local Etsy sellers and sold in their shop! Love, love, love! Anything you could ever need for your stylish home or wardrobe can literally be found in there.

When we got ready to leave there Nate declared that he wanted to take me to Orange Leaf– a new frozen yogurt place that I’ve been dying to visit. So, we headed there and I kind of wish we could have stayed there all day- free refills please?

Top Left: mine- cheese cake and pomegranate with cherries, kiwis, and sprinkles! | Top Right: front of building | Bottom Left: yogurt flavor dispenser area | Bottom Right: nate’s- cookies & cream and confetti cake with sprinkles, reese’s pieces, and white chocolate chips!

You grab a cup, fill it up with the yogurt flavors of your choice, pick your toppings at the topping bar, weigh it at the register, and pay based on the weight of your cup. And it was probably the yummiest yogurt ever. And the decor is so upbeat and modern- it just made me feel happy to be in there!

We decided to head home after grabbing some food for Biscuit, but I really wanted to take our 365 while we were out so we ended up a cute little playground!

Dress: c/o Vicious Threads | Tights: Old Navy | Boots: Wet Seal | Denim Jacket: gift | Earrings: Betsey Johnson

I really want to thank my sweet and wonderful Husband for wanting to take me out to do things that he wouldn’t necessarily choose to spend his Sunday doing if it was up to him. ;] I don’t think he has a clue how much fun I actually had today. I love you Nate!

It's insane that we could sit outside or play outside this weekend in January! Hope the weather is this nice for us next weekend!

    You look cute, as ever.

I LOVE your dress! So cute!

PS I feel like they have an Orange Leaf in Arizona somewhere! Yogurtland and Mojo’s are the popular frozen yogurt places around here though and they are both so good!

I had honestly never been to a frozen yogurt place ever! This one rocked my world, haha. I love it so much.

That store looks so awesome. It's hard to go into the vintage stores in my town because they seem SO cluttered. There's stuff everywhere. That store seems so nice and clean and organized!

I know what you mean. This one is more boutique-esqe and less thrift store like. Like, you don’t feel dirty after you’ve been in there touching things. Which I LOVE. 🙂

Ah! We have a yogurt place like that! Here it is called Josies Yogurt. You just reminded me that I need to go there.

I love that you take pictures of your day.. I would love to do the same.
This may sound stupid but how do you carry your camera everywhere? I have a bigger one and I never bring it anywhere because it doesn’t fit in my purse and Im scared of getting it scratched.. what would you recommend if you were in my shoes?

Also, where are you guys from again? You have some really awesome shops!! The vintage place looks amazing!
For your together photos, how do you set up your camera when you’re outside? Tripod?

I am actually carrying it in my purse right now. It’s fits pretty well in my new bag. Not so much in my old one so I didn’t take it many places! I would just recommend a bigger purse you could switch to when you want to take it!

And we are from Lexington, KY! I really want to showcase the cool stuff we have in our city through my blog- I’ve never done that before. So I’m trying harder. 🙂 I could get lost in Street Scene for hours. So fun! And yes I use a tripod and a remote. It’s just easier!

Absolutely! I didn’t really get to spend much time in there yesterday because I didn’t want to bore Nate to death.. plus they get new stuff every day I’m sure!

That vintage shop is really nice, all the ones round here are more like expensive charity shops. It has an old musty smell like your grandparents unused spare room.
