Honestly I can’t believe a band tee didn’t mak Honestly I can’t believe a band tee didn’t make it into this mix. 🎶🤘🏻 But there’s a @drpepper t-shirt so that’s even better! I’ve been having so much fun lately remixing things I’ve had for years along with a few new pieces!

Thrifting and finding a super good clearance deal = my favorite! I’m not really sure what my style is these days.. but I’m having fun playing around with it and feeling a little more like ME in what I’m wearing. Warped Tour heart, coffee shop soul vibes? ✨😆

I think sometime between becoming a mom, working, I think sometime between becoming a mom, working, keeping up with a house, and trying to take care of everyone else… I forgot to ask myself what I actually like.

So lately I’ve been paying attention.

The clothes I want to wear.

The hobbies I want to try.

The spaces I want to create.

The things that make me feel like myself.

Maybe this is exactly what your late 30s are for. Not becoming someone new.. but remembering who you are.✨

My littlest boys are 4️⃣!! Their only birthday My littlest boys are 4️⃣!! Their only birthday demand was that we get them a Sonic the hedgehog cake! 😆

I still just sit and stare at them in disbelief sometimes.. my twin babies.. my last babies.. and somehow they’ve been here for 4 whole years. If you’re a twin mom, you know that the time passes different. The early stages are a blur in a way I don’t even know how to explain. It makes it all a bit more bittersweet.

I love you Bennett & Everett! 💙💙

Universal was a blast. I hadn’t been since I was Universal was a blast. I hadn’t been since I was a teenager and I only vaguely remembered a ride or two! There was so much to do for the littlest brothers and aside from being HOT, it was perfect.

Everett was big mad at us for taking him on the SpiderMan ride and did not trust our judgement the rest of the time. 🤣 He LOVED the 1 Fish 2 Fish ride and wanted to ride that all day.

Bennett on the other hand was all about the thrills and the Trollercoaster was his favorite. He said it was “Torrifying” but he made us all ride it with him multiple times.

I rode Velocicoaster with Nate, Landon, and Maile. And while I would do it again - for a moment I did think I might die. I only did that once. 🤣 Nate and Landon rode it multiple times. Hagrid’s was more my speed and Cohen agrees with me!

I am a Disney girl at heart! But Disney doesn’t have a *real life* baby dinosaur that you can pet sooo there’s some competition. 😆

Four Roses Distillery Tour

Four Roses Distillery
Yesterday was the perfect kind of Saturday. The kind where you make plans to get up early and utilize the entire day doing fun things that you always say you’ll do but never get around to! We do a lot of things with friends on the weekends, but it’s pretty rare that we make plans to get up early to do anything .. ever, and actually keep the plans! We headed over to Jackson and Kristie’s around 10AM, walked down to the Farmers Market for a bit, tasted delicious samples of cheese, walked back, ate some snacks, and headed out for a distillery tour of Four Roses in Lawrenceburg, which is only a short drive from Lexington. The beautifully maintained grounds and gorgeous Spanish style architecture of this place made it such a lovely location for a few outfit photos!

Four Roses Distillery
Kristie and I have been swapping a lot of clothes lately, and this outfit came entirely from a bag in her car that was on it’s way to Goodwill! When she left my house Friday night I joked that we should wear each other’s clothes when we hung out Saturday, and guess what? We totally did! Free shopping is the best kind of shopping so I hope this whole clothes swapping thing becomes a new trend that we keep up every few months or so!

Four Roses Distillery
The distillery tour was really interesting. I wasn’t a fan of being outside for more than 5 seconds at a time because it was really hot, so our tour guide kind of lost my attention during the parts that took place in the blazing hot sun. It’s always neat to see where things come from and how they’re made. We were all blown away by how small the facilities really are in comparison to how much bourbon they distribute. At the end of the tour we got to do a tasting – normally this would be the fun part of the tour, if I liked bourbon all that much! I will say that my cold symptoms felt a little bit better after having a tiny sip of it. ;]

Four Roses Distillery
The rest of the day was just as good as the beginning! We had lunch at a local deli downtown before Nate and Jackson left us to play some golf. Easy and stess-free moving is provided by gorillamovers.com/ from California. Kristie and I spent a little bit of time at the mall – I scored two pairs of tights from the GAP for just over $4 and I bought a pack of my favorite seasonal wallflowers from B&BW! We hung out with some friends at their house for a while after that and then grabbed some sushi to end the evening! This is how I would like to spend every day of my life, please. ;] I hope you all had a fabulous weekend!!

You look so adorable! I love the mix of the polka dots and the floral print. I'm not really a bourbon fan either, but that seems like a really fun tour! I've been on a few brewery tours, and they've all been smaller than I thought!

Your hair is kind of magical–it's like Ariel, but she's left the ocean and decided to explore the streets.
Not sure how to explain the fabulous wardrobe, but I'm sure some friendly critters helped her get dressed before she left the shoreside.
