Honestly I can’t believe a band tee didn’t mak Honestly I can’t believe a band tee didn’t make it into this mix. 🎶🤘🏻 But there’s a @drpepper t-shirt so that’s even better! I’ve been having so much fun lately remixing things I’ve had for years along with a few new pieces!

Thrifting and finding a super good clearance deal = my favorite! I’m not really sure what my style is these days.. but I’m having fun playing around with it and feeling a little more like ME in what I’m wearing. Warped Tour heart, coffee shop soul vibes? ✨😆

I think sometime between becoming a mom, working, I think sometime between becoming a mom, working, keeping up with a house, and trying to take care of everyone else… I forgot to ask myself what I actually like.

So lately I’ve been paying attention.

The clothes I want to wear.

The hobbies I want to try.

The spaces I want to create.

The things that make me feel like myself.

Maybe this is exactly what your late 30s are for. Not becoming someone new.. but remembering who you are.✨

I still just sit and stare at them in disbelief sometimes.. my twin babies.. my last babies.. and somehow they’ve been here for 4 whole years. If you’re a twin mom, you know that the time passes different. The early stages are a blur in a way I don’t even know how to explain. It makes it all a bit more bittersweet.

I love you Bennett & Everett! 💙💙

Pieces of The Days – Just Being.

Last week I thought about all of the things I needed to do because Easter was coming up. I would need an Easter outfit and to incorporate Biscuit and Freckles in to the photos because – HELLO – BUNNIES – EASTER. Not everyone has adorable bunnies at their disposal for cute Easter shots. But guess what? I ended up getting sick, and I spent Easter in bed under the covers all day. That’s life for ya! I started feeling better last night and was actually excited to go to work today, but woke up back under the weather with new symptoms that were even more unpleasant. So, today I let Freckle’s play in the living room while I laid on the couch and watched The Business of Being Born, part of Freakonomics, and Morning Glory. Suffice to say my thought process has been all over the place after that line up- I’m now both elated and beyond terrified to give birth. Ever. Levitt and Dubner look nothing like what I pictured from listening to the Freakonimcs podcast. And also, I just want to be Rachel McAdams- in whatever role she plays. I’m not picky.

Life has been a whirlwind lately. UK won the NCAA Championship, and we managed to NOT die downtown during the celebratory burning of couches and flipping of cars. That sort of stuff wasn’t happening right where we were really, but the streets were shut down and there were just mobs of people everywhere. We had to work early the next morning and pretty much lost the group of people we were with so we headed on home after a few minutes of chaos. It was pretty cool to be a part of it all though!

On Saturday I was just barely starting to feel sick and didn’t think much of it. We headed to Cincinnati with Brittany and CJ in the early afternoon and met some of Nate’s family up at the Red’s baseball game that evening. We had a delicious lunch at Montgomery Inn, enjoyed a little bit of time at some of our favorite little spots in the city (I’ve SO missed Cincinnati), and then headed over to the stadium. It was nice, but by the end of the day I was so ready to get home.

Let’s look at a few Instagram shots to sum up the last few weeks because I’ve not been doing a good job of blogging!

I hope you’ve all had a great start to your week! Here’s hoping I wake up feeling full recovered tomorrow! =)

I sadly haven't been here in a long time 🙁 I absolutely ADORE the blue top with the little red flowers on it – so beautiful. I've also got that teal color InstaDry nail polish. It's wonderfully bright 🙂
