People do not know me but I will pretend. 😜

Reading that description makes me want to get some creativity flowing in this space and on my blog again, though! I’ve just been working and mom’ing - but I miss creating!

Thanks for being here! 🫶🏻✨

What I Wore · July 10, 2011

Comfy Summer Mixes

It’s not a big shocker that I like to be comfortable. Flouncy dresses and elastic waist bands are kind of my claim to fame. I like to be able to move, breathe, and feel.. well.. not like I’m wearing saran wrap. I have a few tight dresses and they rarely see the light of day because I’m not super proud of my stomach region right at this moment! And so? Outfits like this are born. Forgiving in all the right areas and totally breathable in the hot, hot heat that we are currently experiencing!

I JUST CAN'T PAIR PATTERNS, STEPH, HELP ME.

Well, I'll tell ya. I tried this outfit on one other time and was like- "I LOOK RIDICULOUS. NO." I was really sad because I thought it was going to be awesome. And then, I decided to give it another go- and I liked it. I'll admit that I got a few funny looks when we were out but WHO CARES.

Sometimes I just pull tons of things out of the closet and lay them on top of each other. I've come up with a lot of stuff I would've never thought of that way!

I like being comfy too! Why wear something if I hate it for every second I have it on?

This- exactly! I feel this way about jeans lately. I get so uncomfortable so quickly.

Been lurking for a little while, but this is my first post. Hello! I love being comfy and have been obsessing over long flowey dresses lately because they are so comfortable.

Yay- hi! I love it when quiet readers introduce themselves! 🙂 Long flowey dresses are definitely on my list of favorites right now, too!

I really want to wear more skirts/dresses but unfortunately I have the whole rash on the inner thigh problem when I do. I'm jealous!

I remember you saying that before, and I feel for you! 🙁 It's too hot to wear hardly anything else right now. There has to be some kind of lotion or something that could help. I have a rash on my legs a lot, but it's from having goosebumps at work all day.

wait. are our skirt/shorts black or navy? because I've been living under the impression that they're navy, but now i'm not so sure.

They're navy. I just broke the black/navy rule by wearing the black sandals. Oh well!
