Our Story

It’s been brought to my attention via the comments on the last post that some of you don’t know the story behind how Nate & I came to know one another. I wrote about this during our engagement over on our wedding blog, so I thought I’d just link to the first two parts of the story so you can read up! You might be wondering, why not the third part? And well, it’s because I got lost in wedding land/house building land- where my eye twitched for about 4 months straight and I couldn’t concentrate on anything other than trying not to lose my mind over paint chips and picking flowers – over the phone with my Mom describing them to me all the way from Florida! My eye is twitching just thinking about it. So, I’ll need to finish the story once and for all! But go ahead and do your back reading..

There are a few new things making me happy this week, but- they’re just possibilities, so for now I’ll have to keep them all to myself! I promise I’ll share when I can. =) Just send good thoughts! But I’m assuming that most people, with an exception of one or two, are already sending relatively good thoughts – so a big thank you to you in advance. ;]

Day 81 of 365 Days of Marriage

I tried to get a snap of Nate & I before he fell asleep, but I failed. So I took this photo of me being sneaky with my planner and laptop as I make his birthday plans with him sleeping in the background (you can see his foot back there!). His birthday is not this Saturday, but the next- April 2nd. So I have to make sure to give everyone a heads up on our get together plans here at the house. I didn’t quite get to that part, but it’s on tomorrow’s to do list! As well as ordering Ashley’s two-part birthday present!

I’ll leave you with a song that Nate recently text me and told me to listen to while I was at work. We had so many “us” songs by this band, and while we don’t listen to them much anymore -this new song is pretty perfect. <3
