I finally put some of those frozen bananas to use in my banana bread! 😆 Who else has a freezer full of brown bananas? Can’t just be me.

Honestly I can’t believe a band tee didn’t mak Honestly I can’t believe a band tee didn’t make it into this mix. 🎶🤘🏻 But there’s a @drpepper t-shirt so that’s even better! I’ve been having so much fun lately remixing things I’ve had for years along with a few new pieces!

Thrifting and finding a super good clearance deal = my favorite! I’m not really sure what my style is these days.. but I’m having fun playing around with it and feeling a little more like ME in what I’m wearing. Warped Tour heart, coffee shop soul vibes? ✨😆

I think sometime between becoming a mom, working, I think sometime between becoming a mom, working, keeping up with a house, and trying to take care of everyone else… I forgot to ask myself what I actually like.

So lately I’ve been paying attention.

The clothes I want to wear.

The hobbies I want to try.

The spaces I want to create.

The things that make me feel like myself.

Maybe this is exactly what your late 30s are for. Not becoming someone new.. but remembering who you are.✨

I still just sit and stare at them in disbelief sometimes.. my twin babies.. my last babies.. and somehow they’ve been here for 4 whole years. If you’re a twin mom, you know that the time passes different. The early stages are a blur in a way I don’t even know how to explain. It makes it all a bit more bittersweet.

I love you Bennett & Everett! 💙💙

Universal was a blast. I hadn’t been since I was Universal was a blast. I hadn’t been since I was a teenager and I only vaguely remembered a ride or two! There was so much to do for the littlest brothers and aside from being HOT, it was perfect.

Everett was big mad at us for taking him on the SpiderMan ride and did not trust our judgement the rest of the time. 🤣 He LOVED the 1 Fish 2 Fish ride and wanted to ride that all day.

Bennett on the other hand was all about the thrills and the Trollercoaster was his favorite. He said it was “Torrifying” but he made us all ride it with him multiple times.

I rode Velocicoaster with Nate, Landon, and Maile. And while I would do it again - for a moment I did think I might die. I only did that once. 🤣 Nate and Landon rode it multiple times. Hagrid’s was more my speed and Cohen agrees with me!

I am a Disney girl at heart! But Disney doesn’t have a *real life* baby dinosaur that you can pet sooo there’s some competition. 😆

5 Simple Sunday Habits That Make Mondays Feel a Little Less Monday

This blog post may contain affiliate links. Learn more.

Mondays get a bad rap — and honestly, I get it. That “back to real life” feeling after a busy weekend of errands, laundry, and chasing kids around can hit hard. But what if a few simple Sunday habits could make that Monday morning chaos a little easier to handle?

You don’t need a whole new routine or a fancy productivity plan — just a few easy things that set the tone for a smoother, less stressful week ahead.

1. Do a Quick Fridge Tidy

I know, it’s not the most exciting way to spend your Sunday, but hear me out. Spend five minutes clearing out last week’s leftovers, wiping a couple of shelves, and seeing what you still have for lunches or dinners. It’s amazing how much calmer Monday mornings feel when you’re not staring into a cluttered fridge wondering what that mystery container used to be.

2. Pick Out Your Monday Outfit (Even If You Work From Home)

Even when I’m just working from home, I swear this helps. Decision fatigue is real — and Mondays bring plenty of it. Laying out your outfit Sunday night means one less thing to think about when you’re wrangling kids and trying to get everyone fed. Bonus points if you do the same for the kids.

3. Lighten the Load — Literally

Sometimes “Sunday cleaning” can turn into an all-day marathon if I’m not careful. Lately, I’ve started asking myself what actually needs to get done before the week starts… and what can wait. And honestly? On the weeks when I’m completely tapped out, I call Karen’s Green Cleaning to come in for a deep clean. It’s one of the best gifts I’ve ever given myself — walking into a sparkling house on Monday instead of sore muscles and frustration? Total game changer.

4. Do a Sunday Brain Dump

Grab a notebook or your Notes app and write down everything that’s been bouncing around in your head — appointments, to-dos, random thoughts, grocery items, even things you need to message someone about. Just get it out. Clearing that mental clutter on Sunday night helps me sleep better and start the week with a clear mind instead of that Sunday-night spiral.

5. Do Something Just for You

This is the part most of us skip — and it’s honestly the most important one. Do one small thing that’s just for you. Bake something, light a candle, sit in silence with a cup of tea, or binge a show without guilt. Sunday isn’t just about getting everything ready for everyone else — it’s about giving yourself a moment to reset, too.

A few intentional Sunday habits can completely shift how Monday feels. Less clutter, less chaos, and maybe — just maybe — a little excitement to start a new week.
