I have the MOST FUN any time I’m in front of Michelle’s camera. She is so fun to hang out with and it ends up being the best girl time + hair and makeup! Y’all know I have 4 kids and I work from home.. I don’t get to feel fancy very often! If you like laughing until your cheeks hurt (your face cheeks) and feeling 🔥 - book a shoot with her! 10/10 highly recommend.

Thank goodness for spring. 🌸 2026 has been kin Thank goodness for spring. 🌸

2026 has been kind of a weird, wild ride so far, but full of good things. I started a new job! And that has taken up a lot of my time (in a good way), so I’ve been a little bit quiet around here.

I’m trying as hard as I can to prioritize myself more these days. Finally went to the doctor and did some blood work. Turns out, I’m severely anemic. I’m hoping I’ll start feeling better and little more awake after I start my iron. 😅 Maybe I can lay off the coffee a little bit. (J/k)

I can’t believe it’s almost April after we went through 3 years of January, but I’m not mad about it! Ready to relax outside on patios with family/friends and enjoy our kiddos running around. We made it. 🖤

And he said this to his social media loving picture taking wife who is finally feeling the sunlight on her face after months of seasonal depression. 🤪 Might just turn this into a Nate appreciation account. Stay tuned.😉

DIY Garden Ideas To Improve Your Outdoor Space

Creating a beautiful garden doesn’t always require hiring a professional, which is good news for most of us. While professionals do incredible work, with the cost of living crisis in full swing, many of us don’t have thousands to spend on doing up the garden right now. But with a little creativity and effort, you can transform your outdoor space into something special and maybe even have fun in the process! Here are some DIY garden and landscaping ideas that anyone can tackle to make their garden look its best.

Start with a Plan

Before you get started with any kind of landscaping project, it’s really important to have a clear plan in mind of what you want to do. Consider different factors like the layout of your garden, sunlight exposure, and the types of plants you want to incorporate. Sketching out a rough design can help you visualise the end result and make sure that it all comes together in the way that you want.

Create a Seating Area

A seating area is one of the best things you can add in your garden, in fact, its well worth starting here and building everything else around it. You might have a beautiful garden but with nowhere to sit, you have nowhere to enjoy it from! When you have a table and chairs you can eat outside when it’s warm with your family, or host bbqs and garden parties. With a cosy bench you and your partner can sit and enjoy a morning coffee watching the sun come up, or a glass of wine as it goes down. Maybe an egg chair is what you need to help you relax, you can read a book or magazine and enjoy the fresh air, sounds and smells in the garden. You might want your seating area in the spot in the garden that gets the most sun, or maybe you want it more shady and out of view of neighbours. Adding a pergola can be a good way to add some privacy around your seating lol.

Add Pathways

Pathways are great for improving the visual appeal of your garden, they also provide functional access to different areas too. They’re a good way to split up bigger gardens and give you more usable sections. Think things like a herb garden, simply add some good quality topsoil and plant into an area. Or a play area for kids, maybe even an area as a memorial area to remember loved ones that have passed away. You can create pathways using materials like gravel, stepping stones or even reclaimed wood, just outline the path that you plain on making, remove any existing vegetation, and lay down your chosen material to create a defined walkway.

Plant Native Species

Choosing native plants is eco friendly but also makes maintenance easier. Native plants are well adapted to the climate and soil conditions you live in, so they need less water and upkeep to keep them at their best. They tend to be cheaper, and with things like wildflowers the seeds are super cheap and they’re great for pollinators so the perfect addition to the garden.

Incorporate Vertical Gardening

Vertical gardening is an excellent way to maximise space in small gardens or on patios and balconies. Install trellises, wall-mounted planters or hanging baskets to grow climbing plants, vines and stunning cascading flowers. Raised beds are a practical solution for gardening in limited spaces too or areas with poor soil quality. You can construct raised beds using wood, bricks or even recycled materials like old pallets.
