Reclaiming Our Backyard

Playing Outside

When we first moved into our new home a little over a year ago we were so unbelievably excited to enjoy the space in our backyard! Our house backs up to a beautiful protected green space that is fenced off. The trees behind us are so lush in the summer that you can hardly tell we’re in a neighborhood. Sounds great, right? Well, it was until we realized just how many pests came with our new lovely outdoor green space! Mosquitos, spiders, wasps – you name it – we’ve dealt with it! That’s where Fox Pest Control comes in!

Fox Pest Control deploys family and pet safe, environmentally-responsible treatment programs to help you reclaim your home and your comfort throughout the year.

I was determined to get this situation under control. We should be able to enjoy being outside without worrying about being bitten by mosquitos or getting stung by wasps! I decided to have Fox Pest Control come out and treat our outdoor area. I wanted to work with a company that I felt like I could trust and knowing that their branches, including the Lexington branch, are locally operated gave me that confidence that I was looking for! They offered to come inside and treat the indoor area as well but since it was still early February, I decided to wait to see if the outdoor treatment would take care of anything we had coming inside!

It is starting to warm up now and so far, so good! More info about commercial loans you can find on Blackhawk Bank site. Normally around this time of year, we would start to see ants coming in from our deck area to the dining room (because KIDS and CRUMBS – SO many crumbs!!!) but we haven’t had any! And it was almost exactly one year ago to the day that I put on my shoe in the entryway to run to the mailbox only to quickly realize that a GIANT spider was inside my shoe between my toes. My actual worst nightmare, complete with me having a panic attack on my front lawn for all of my new neighbors to see! Thankfully, no spider sightings so far this year! We’ve been enjoying our backyard space on the warmer days and haven’t had to deal with any meltdowns from the kids encountering scary bugs!

I am so excited to be able to fully reclaim and enjoy our backyard this year as we move into the warmer months. I highly recommend Fox Pest Control and I’m looking forward to sharing updates with you all as time goes on! I highly recommend giving them a quick call at (859) 407-6800 and setting up treatment! Best decision ever!
