Everett the marshmallow sleep suit baby agrees. They have made a pact to scream in unison for as long as it takes to get their point across. Twins vs Mom: two-nil.

In a moment of desperation, I scooped Bennett up w In a moment of desperation, I scooped Bennett up while I was nursing Everett and managed to tandem nurse them. I haven’t enjoyed tandem nursing so I haven’t forced myself to do it. I enjoy the one on one time with them anyway. But they’re starting to notice more and more that the other one is eating while they wait their turn. And today I found that at 6 months old it’s a lot easier to nurse them at the same time. They can sit up a bit, I don’t have to use a feeding pillow or roll up blankets to put under their heads. It was actually really peaceful. They both fell asleep snuggled on me and that doesn’t really happen usually because I typically hold one at a time.🄹

So maybe this will be a new thing for us now. I am proud of myself because I haven’t paid much attention to what I *should* be doing. I just do whatever works for us. šŸ’•

Swipe to see what he woke up with over night vs one day of using Tubby Todd vs several days. I did put a little bit of the hydrocortisone cream on it that my pediatrician prescribed on the first day, but that legit never does anything hardly. So I know this is really working! I’m so excited to use the body wash on the kids as well and I may keep the Suds Stick for myself because Coconut & Sea Salt sounds heavenly. If you suffer from eczema - you NEED this!
I didn’t manage to take an official *6 Month* ph I didn’t manage to take an official *6 Month* photo today but here is one of Everett and Bennett playing on their mat during tummy time earlier! Everett is battling an ear infection and Bennett got his first two bottom teeth a few days ago - so there’s lots of fussiness over here! Bennett is still sleeping through the night 100% from 7ish PM to 8 AM! Meanwhile, Everett has been waking up every 1-2 hours the past few nights to nurse. 🄓

I can’t believe they’re already six months old! It’s so much fun to see their personalities shining through. Everett needs lots of cuddles and really likes sitting in the sit me up seat to play with toys. Bennett can be content to swing or chill on the twin z pillow for a lot longer and he loves pat-a-cake. They both love all the attention they get from Landon and Cohen! It’s hard to remember life without them. I’m so blessed to be their momma. šŸ’• #twinmom #momoftwins #boymom

Updating Our Master Bedroom: VCNY Monica Turquoise Comforter Set

Our master bedroom is a work in progress. There is so much I want to do in that space but I am trying to pace myself because, you know, that little thing called a budget! I decided that the easiest and first things I wanted to update were bedding and paint. Well, I came across this beautiful VCNY Monica Turquoise Comforter Set and I just had to have it. We had our previous comforter set for around 5 years and it was time for an update! Naturally, I gravitated toward turquoise.

We have a queen size bed so I decided to purchase a king size comforter so it would flow down over the sides of the bed a bit. We had a bedskirt with our previous set and this set did not come with one. The only thing I didn’t think about was that the pillow shams would also be king size pillow shams – oops! So I have folded the shams around the back of the pillows so they’ll fit. It’s no big deal but it’s also not ideal. So just keep that in mind if you size up for your own bed!

So far I absolutely love this purchase. We’ve had it on our bed for around 2-3 weeks and it seems well made. I enjoyed resting and surfing the net www.workerscompensationlawyersla.com/ looking for workers compensation attorney in CA. It’s extremely soft and comfy. The only minor issue I have is that the details in the product photo aren’t exact. I read many of the reviews that stated this and chose to ignore them, hoping mine would be just like the picture. The product photos show a sewn in button detail on the folded over portion of the comforter and near the bottom. This is not on my comforter and I really liked that bit of detail! That being said, it’s true to color and it’s still very pretty and plushy! I would purchase it again!

I can’t wait to paint and add some decor above the bed. I haven’t decided exactly what I want to do just yet but you can bet that I’m hoarding all of my ideas over on Pinterest!
