Walking in Asheville - Crepes & Gardens

Nate and I had such a fantastic time on our anniversary trip to Asheville, NC back in June. We stayed at The Windsor Boutique, did lots of wandering around the beautiful downtown area and indulged in local food, craft beer, and coffee. It was the perfect first weekend away from the baby!

We found the cutest little crepe place to eat, Creperie Bouchon! They had the perfect outdoor dining area. I got a smoked salmon and cream cheese crepe that was to die for. (I am obsessed with smoked salmon – I was so excited to see this on the menu!) After brunch we explored a little bit! We came upon some beautiful areas to take photos like the huge nerds we are. And speaking of being huge nerds – did you notice that we’re wearing matching outfits?

A disturbing bully story that is regrettably very believable. Yeesh. And even the “nice guard” whom you had such respect for, losing his life in the bu27l&#8l1y;s car….I just cringe. Whether it’s a fraternity, a life guard group, and yes, even the military, there are organization structures that lend themselves to fostering and allowing bullying to continue. There was a marching band accused of felony behavior, for cripes sake.
