Pieces of The Days – Goodbye June

Summer has been in full swing around here. I can hardly believe that it’s July – does anyone else feel this way? In just a few short weeks Nate and I will be heading down to Florida for a bit of vacation time at the beach. I’ll also be spending a few days in Sebring visiting with my parents during that time. It should be a nice little break from reality and it will be so good to see my family! Between hanging out with my Mom and spending some time sitting by the ocean – I hope to come back to Kentucky with a fresh perspective and a rejuvenated spirit. Sometimes the every day routine of life just gets a little stale and hard to manage, you know? We are definitely due for some time off of work!


Our summer has been pretty great so far. There have been weekend doughnut & coffee dates, roller coaster rides, surprise bachelorette parties, distillery tours, and midnight swims. We may or may not have hopped a fence to swim in a private pool for that midnight swim. This past Saturday I tried my hand at wedding photography as a second shooter and on Sunday Nate and I went to a NASCAR race together. I suppose you could say we’ve been a little busy, yeah? Busy in the best ways for sure. What have you guys been up to?!
