I have the MOST FUN any time I’m in front of Michelle’s camera. She is so fun to hang out with and it ends up being the best girl time + hair and makeup! Y’all know I have 4 kids and I work from home.. I don’t get to feel fancy very often! If you like laughing until your cheeks hurt (your face cheeks) and feeling 🔥 - book a shoot with her! 10/10 highly recommend.

Thank goodness for spring. 🌸 2026 has been kin Thank goodness for spring. 🌸

2026 has been kind of a weird, wild ride so far, but full of good things. I started a new job! And that has taken up a lot of my time (in a good way), so I’ve been a little bit quiet around here.

I’m trying as hard as I can to prioritize myself more these days. Finally went to the doctor and did some blood work. Turns out, I’m severely anemic. I’m hoping I’ll start feeling better and little more awake after I start my iron. 😅 Maybe I can lay off the coffee a little bit. (J/k)

I can’t believe it’s almost April after we went through 3 years of January, but I’m not mad about it! Ready to relax outside on patios with family/friends and enjoy our kiddos running around. We made it. 🖤

And he said this to his social media loving picture taking wife who is finally feeling the sunlight on her face after months of seasonal depression. 🤪 Might just turn this into a Nate appreciation account. Stay tuned.😉

Hello September!

August flew in and out faster than any month this year- at least for me. We’ve been so busy that it’s just been unreal. We dove headfirst into the trauma of finding out that Nate’s Dad has cancer, drove to western Kentucky for a four day wedding weekend, got to meet our new baby nephew, went out for my birthday – twice! one with friends and one without, had family birthday festivities for myself and Nate’s Dad over at their house, went birthday shopping with Ashley, went to Cookeville, TN with Jackson and Kristie to visit her family and to go hiking down a waterfall! Guys- I’m exhausted, and I’m sure I’m even leaving stuff out!

I’ll be leaving for Florida on Saturday and I’m hoping that this will be a peaceful and relaxing week of fun in my hometown. I’m trying to start September off with a more laid back vibe, ya know? ;] We just found out that my Father-in-Law will start chemo soon and it will go for six months with the hopes of a completely clear scan in 9 months. They think there’s a reasonable chance for this to happen, but at the same time they just aren’t sure. Of course they aren’t- that’s how cancer rolls! But we’re praying and I believe it will happen.

I can’t wait to post pictures from some of the adventures I just mentioned. I don’t know how I’ll ever get through them all, honestly. I need to get some sort of morning blogging routine down now that I work so much more. The only problem? I’m NOT a morning person, and half the time when I do manage to fall out of bed and into some clothes extra early- I know that I ought to go on to work and try to get ahead, so I do that instead. I could stay up super late but I’m usually up until 11:30 or 12am anyway just doing things that need to be done around the house or spending time with Nate. So, let me know if you have any tips on getting a good routine together. My time management skills are nonexistent apparently.

Have a great first day of September my friends! I’m going to celebrate it by going out to dinner with my favorite Brittany! ;]

Wow, that does sound like a busy August!

As for a routine – organize and prioritize, lady! 🙂 Tell yourself "I NEED to do x, y, and z today." Sometimes there's just not time for TV, or you'll have to put off cleaning for a day, but the things you gave priority will be done 🙂

Have fun on your trip home!

I can't believe how fast August went by, it totally flew by for me as well.
The way I stay organized is with a list and by using an alarm. I wake up at a certain time and do everything that I need to do to get ready and then I use the alarm to time myself while I do a specific activity. I know I only have a certain amount of time to get it done, so it helps me to stay focused.
I don't use the alarm often, since some things may take longer then others.

Also I've been told it takes about 14 days (i think) to keep a routine, so maybe try something easy at first like if you wan to blog, once a night maybe write of 2-3 blogs and schedule them for later in the week.

I had a hard time finding a blogging schedule when my job got seriously stressful and busy! Sometimes, I start an entry and save it and write on it as I find time. Also, when you're in a writin' mood, write lots of entries and stock pile 'em!

I hope you have an amazing trip home! Be safe and have a blast.
