Honestly I can’t believe a band tee didn’t mak Honestly I can’t believe a band tee didn’t make it into this mix. 🎶🤘🏻 But there’s a @drpepper t-shirt so that’s even better! I’ve been having so much fun lately remixing things I’ve had for years along with a few new pieces!

Thrifting and finding a super good clearance deal = my favorite! I’m not really sure what my style is these days.. but I’m having fun playing around with it and feeling a little more like ME in what I’m wearing. Warped Tour heart, coffee shop soul vibes? ✨😆

I think sometime between becoming a mom, working, I think sometime between becoming a mom, working, keeping up with a house, and trying to take care of everyone else… I forgot to ask myself what I actually like.

So lately I’ve been paying attention.

The clothes I want to wear.

The hobbies I want to try.

The spaces I want to create.

The things that make me feel like myself.

Maybe this is exactly what your late 30s are for. Not becoming someone new.. but remembering who you are.✨

My littlest boys are 4️⃣!! Their only birthday My littlest boys are 4️⃣!! Their only birthday demand was that we get them a Sonic the hedgehog cake! 😆

I still just sit and stare at them in disbelief sometimes.. my twin babies.. my last babies.. and somehow they’ve been here for 4 whole years. If you’re a twin mom, you know that the time passes different. The early stages are a blur in a way I don’t even know how to explain. It makes it all a bit more bittersweet.

I love you Bennett & Everett! 💙💙

Thoughts On Working…

Guys. This is the conclusion I’ve come to. (HAHAHHAHA) Yeah, what a joke. ;] But it’d be nice if it were true. I’m loving my job right now though- so much. It’s weird because I’m not really doing anything a whole lot different, but I do have an extra “task” now. So basically I am doing three jobs, and I’m going in two hours earlier to get everything done. I like having more responsibility. I like feeling like my job matters, and so I have this whole new attitude about everything that I do. The only thing that I don’t like? I haven’t learned how to balance blog, house, AND work yet. I go in earlier and get off later- which results in exhaustion and using what energy I have left on the necessities. Eating, showering, and spending time with Nate are coming before the blog- obviously.

I mentioned cancer a few times recently but never disclosed who. Well, my Father-In-Law is having his surgery this Friday. So, we’re going to be pretty busy helping out however we can and just being there. I believe that Nate’s Grandparents could possibly be staying with us a bit as well. Also? My Sister-In-Law should have her baby pretty much any second now! So, if you don’t see me around – this will be why for sure. However, I am going to try and make time. I think making time for blogging and outfit posting will probably help me to keep myself in good spirits. Does that make sense? :] I’m sure it seems trivial, but it’s just something that I know will help me relax.

I’m hoping and praying for good things over these next few weeks. They’re going to be jam packed. We have a wedding next weekend that amounts to a four day weekend in Western Kentucky (Hi Emmy! Hi Rachie!), and then I’m actually going HOME to Florida at the beginning of September. I’m going to start working on getting some fabulous guest posts together to keep you all entertained, and I can’t wait to share some of my ideas for the blog based around visiting my hometown! I want August and September to be the best months for this blog yet, and I fully believe that I can achieve that! <3

<3 There used to be a t-shirt that said, "I'm too pretty to do math." HAH I loved it.

Thinking of your family & you… it seems like a lot of people are getting lots of extra/new work in addition to their current jobs – can def be exhausting!

I actually miss work. I miss the routine of getting up, working, then coming home and having a schedule of what to do. Having the summers off isn't all fun like everyone thinks.
On friday I'll say a little prayer for your FIL. Hope everything goes well.

I'm with you – we just moved and I'm having trouble finding time to balance everything too. If you find a solution, please share 🙂

I'm sorry to hear about your father-in-law, but congrats on the new niece or nephew coming!

Now that I'm planning a wedding and working full time, I'm finding it harder to balance everything too!

I hope everything goes well for you FIL and that your SIL has her baby soon! That's so exciting!
