Hey there loyal readers! I say “loyal” because you must be if you’re still checking this little blog for updates! Sorry about the unexpected break- I didn’t realize just how upside down our lives were about to flip there for a little while or I would’ve known better than to think I’d be able to keep up around here! But more on that later! I just wanted to pop in and say thank you to everyone who continues to read and contact me to see how things are going. You all are what makes blogging fun and I really appreciate each and every friendship.
Today is my 24th birthday, by the way! The lack of reflective blog posts leading up to this day proves how preoccupied I’ve been! I never miss a chance to lay the nostalgia on thick right before turning another year older. But I suppose I’ll spare you for now. I’m so excited to go out to dinner tonight with my sweet husband! We’re hitting up a new Mexican restaurant downtown that we’ve never been to before, so here’s hoping it’s fabulous. They have fried avocado on the menu… so I have high expectations!
I’m currently on break at work as I write this. Can’t wait to head home and take a few outfit pictures. I’m breaking my favorite fashion rule to break today by wearing my new brown Heda Wedges c/o Blowfish Shoes (which I can’t wait to show you and link you to, because you will want to buy your very own!) with a dress that has black and grey accents in the pattern! I love breaking the rules .. it’s just too easy and opens so many extra outfit possibilities!

Exactly! This has a bit more black in it.. I’m not sure I would’ve decided to wear all of this together if I didn’t *really* want these shoes to work with this dress.. and tada- new outfit!
