Honestly I can’t believe a band tee didn’t mak Honestly I can’t believe a band tee didn’t make it into this mix. 🎶🤘🏻 But there’s a @drpepper t-shirt so that’s even better! I’ve been having so much fun lately remixing things I’ve had for years along with a few new pieces!

Thrifting and finding a super good clearance deal = my favorite! I’m not really sure what my style is these days.. but I’m having fun playing around with it and feeling a little more like ME in what I’m wearing. Warped Tour heart, coffee shop soul vibes? ✨😆

I think sometime between becoming a mom, working, I think sometime between becoming a mom, working, keeping up with a house, and trying to take care of everyone else… I forgot to ask myself what I actually like.

So lately I’ve been paying attention.

The clothes I want to wear.

The hobbies I want to try.

The spaces I want to create.

The things that make me feel like myself.

Maybe this is exactly what your late 30s are for. Not becoming someone new.. but remembering who you are.✨

I still just sit and stare at them in disbelief sometimes.. my twin babies.. my last babies.. and somehow they’ve been here for 4 whole years. If you’re a twin mom, you know that the time passes different. The early stages are a blur in a way I don’t even know how to explain. It makes it all a bit more bittersweet.

I love you Bennett & Everett! 💙💙

Universal was a blast. I hadn’t been since I was Universal was a blast. I hadn’t been since I was a teenager and I only vaguely remembered a ride or two! There was so much to do for the littlest brothers and aside from being HOT, it was perfect.

Everett was big mad at us for taking him on the SpiderMan ride and did not trust our judgement the rest of the time. 🤣 He LOVED the 1 Fish 2 Fish ride and wanted to ride that all day.

Bennett on the other hand was all about the thrills and the Trollercoaster was his favorite. He said it was “Torrifying” but he made us all ride it with him multiple times.

I rode Velocicoaster with Nate, Landon, and Maile. And while I would do it again - for a moment I did think I might die. I only did that once. 🤣 Nate and Landon rode it multiple times. Hagrid’s was more my speed and Cohen agrees with me!

I am a Disney girl at heart! But Disney doesn’t have a *real life* baby dinosaur that you can pet sooo there’s some competition. 😆

365 Days of Marriage · April 3, 2011

Ready For It

It’s not often that I can say that I’m ready for a weekend to be over, but boy am I ready to see this one go. Tomorrow starts a new week and I’m anxious to see what it brings. Nate’s birthday was the 2nd (yesterday) and it was also the UK game (we lost in the final four). We had a handful of people over for the two celebrations. I somehow managed to not get a decent photo of Nate and I all night. Every time we have a full house I get so excited to be mingling that I sometimes realize that I haven’t seen him all night- but by the time I do it’s usually the END of the night. I did, however, take several pictures of him and other people and several of ME and other people. *shakes head* We seemed to like taking pictures with Kristie (because she’s awesome) so I decided to do a Kristie themed 365. ;] Oh and, let me know if you see a mild difference between the two photos….

Day 92 of 365 Days of Marriage

A Kristie themed 365 from Nate’s birthday UK game party

Today has been pretty relaxed, but kind of blah. I woke up early but haven’t done much in the way of things that need to be done. We have that good ol’ get together aftermath cleaning that needs to be done and a ton of laundry. I did manage to get our brand new computer up and running though! We bought it on Friday and hadn’t touched it until today- so not like me to wait around on playing with a new gadget! Nate and I went out for a little bit to get him fitted for a tux (he’s in a friend’s wedding in August) and to treat ourselves to some Orange Leaf. Yum! We also looked for a desk while we were out but it was pretty late to start looking on a Sunday. So for now our brand new giant touch screen all in one computer will just sit on the kitchen table. ;] (I’m ashamed that we bought a Dell- but I’ve decided to give them another chance.)

Day 93 of 365 Days of Marriage

We’re going to be super nerdy now… I love it.

So much of this sounds like my weekend. 🙂 I know the feeling about not seeing your boo until the end of the night — I love having people over but by the end of the night or weekend, I am so happy just to be with him.

We are cleaning up from our party too!

How are you liking the new hair?!? And how are you liking the new computer? We’re thinking of getting another one primarily for my photography because all the pictures are making my laptop run SLOOOOW. It will most likely be a Dell because I’m very brand loyal and have only ever bought Dells. Not that I don’t like any other brand, I’m just weird and OCD.
