Another weekend- over! If I only could have just one more day off (and another, and another)! I really want to complain but I know I shouldn’t. Right? I am thankful for my job, and I feel like someone should force me to write that 500 times on a chalk board. But really, it’s been hard lately with Nate being off on Fridays and Mondays. I am the worst kind of jealous when I have to leave for work and he’s just like, “K, have a good day byeeee!” *sad face*
I will enjoy the time I have left relaxing because today was a very productive day. I did so much laundry today that it doesn’t seem possible that two people could actually have this much laundry to be done. But this is the result of poor laundry maintenance throughout the week so I really shouldn’t feel so surprised. I cleaned, I painted, I maintained bunny cage cleanliness x2 , I ate a decent lunch, and I managed to get ready and make it to Nate’s second Tball game of the day. He already has one of those weird angry parents that takes Tball way too seriously. She went out of her way to email him and scold him for not keeping one of the 12 kids on the team from bending down to pick up a flower during the game- AHAHAH. I about died laughing. They are FIVE, lady! And this is the first game! And at least none of the kids on our team are laying on the ground and scooping up dirt with their hats (like the other team, haha). Lord have mercy on poor Nate if this woman continues to bother him and tell him he’s not a good coach because he and his assistant coaches can’t keep ALL 12 kids completely focused at all times. The other parents all come up and tell him what a great job he’s doing and how much they appreciate the effort he’s putting in. So, I guess we will try to ignore the crazies. Sheesh.
After we left the game we grabbed some Penn Station (yuuuum!), came home, ate, and then I made Nate help me fold some of the laundry. ;]

I think I may curl up with a book for a bit and fall asleep fairly soon. I’m rereading Firefly Lane. I found it in the hotel room in Maui on our honeymoon last June and I snuck it into my bag when we left. I know, I know- but there were tons of books in there and I think people leave and take so I don’t feel too bad. Besides, it’s a souvenir I’ll always keep and I wanted to read it on the 9 hour plane ride home. I remember curling up next to the huge window in our room looking out over the water, my hair in a crunchy salty wet braid, wearing my slightly damp bathing suit and shorts- just reading and listening to the waves crash while Nate napped. The book is about two best friends who meet when they’re in their early teens and have a falling out later on in life, but learn what really matters in the end. It could be considered cheesy, and I think you can kind of see the end coming- but I still like it and I thought it was about time to reread it..
I hope you all have a great start to your week!

I did a lot of laundry too, and like you it doesn't seem like it's possible that we created that much of it!
I love your new header by the way!
Isn’t it crazy? I know if I would just do a little every few days or so it wouldn’t be so bad but I just can’t seem to grasp that concept.
And thank you! 🙂
Do you do a lot of reading? You should sign up on Goodreads.com 😉

I try to make time, but I fail. I have a good reads account- but it’s pretty pathetic and embarrassing because I’ve read so little. Haha.
It must have been everyone's laundry weekend. Neil and I finished ours up yesterday.
