Honestly I can’t believe a band tee didn’t mak Honestly I can’t believe a band tee didn’t make it into this mix. 🎶🤘🏻 But there’s a @drpepper t-shirt so that’s even better! I’ve been having so much fun lately remixing things I’ve had for years along with a few new pieces!

Thrifting and finding a super good clearance deal = my favorite! I’m not really sure what my style is these days.. but I’m having fun playing around with it and feeling a little more like ME in what I’m wearing. Warped Tour heart, coffee shop soul vibes? ✨😆

I think sometime between becoming a mom, working, I think sometime between becoming a mom, working, keeping up with a house, and trying to take care of everyone else… I forgot to ask myself what I actually like.

So lately I’ve been paying attention.

The clothes I want to wear.

The hobbies I want to try.

The spaces I want to create.

The things that make me feel like myself.

Maybe this is exactly what your late 30s are for. Not becoming someone new.. but remembering who you are.✨

My littlest boys are 4️⃣!! Their only birthday My littlest boys are 4️⃣!! Their only birthday demand was that we get them a Sonic the hedgehog cake! 😆

I still just sit and stare at them in disbelief sometimes.. my twin babies.. my last babies.. and somehow they’ve been here for 4 whole years. If you’re a twin mom, you know that the time passes different. The early stages are a blur in a way I don’t even know how to explain. It makes it all a bit more bittersweet.

I love you Bennett & Everett! 💙💙

365 Days of Marriage, website · March 1, 2011

Well Hello There

Hi there, you! Yes you. You the regular visitor, you the first time visitor- or whoever you are! I’m happy that you’re here. =) I’ve noticed a crazy increase in traffic around here and I want to make sure that all of you newbies feel welcome and loved, because as ridiculously nerdy as it sounds- I got way too excited over a triple increase in traffic to my little internet space! If you’re one of those that are new, feel free to leave a comment and say hi! I’d love to “meet” you and visit your blog if you have one! Don’t be shy. :]

In other news: I wrote a little guest post over on Momfish.com, a super awesome new Momma/Momma-To-Be blog and message board! I wrote a little bit about our reasons for waiting to get pregnant and I’m just excited that I could contribute because I must say that when Kalen announced that her new “project” was mommy related (which don’t worry- I saw that coming) I felt a little left out! However, she made me realize that I can still enjoy reading and browsing the boards because after all, I will be a mommy some day!

Now, on to the last two 365’s! Nate and I decided to buy Rock Band II last night so that we could download some of our favorite songs in the database. I’ve pretty much died over the thought of singing “Gun Powder and Lead” by Miranda Lambert and Nate has had his eye on a few Jimmy Eat World songs! So yes, we bought another game. But you know- if it’s something we love to do together I just don’t see the harm!

Day 58 of 365 Days of Marriage

Today was a typical Monday with an added downer- it poured and stormed like crazy all night last night and straight into today. Nate said he probably could’ve turned his head lights off and been fine on the way to work thanks to all of the lightning. I awoke alone and scared for our appliances around 6:30AM and went downstairs to unplug basically everything that requires power. No more fried TVs in my future! The whole day was pretty blah. I’m extremely effected by the weather. But I was super excited to see Nate and spend time with him. We ate a frozen pizza and chilled in bed. Here we are being sneaky!

Yes, yes, yes! Do it. We have so much fun. But we're kinda super nerdy and into video games so that might have something to do with it. Haha.

I just looked back and it happened on Feb 24th. I'm still baffled. I'm sure you had something to with it with it continuing, so thank you! So sweet. <3
