Hi frands! Today has been a beautiful day weather wise and other. Brittany and I both got off work early, came home, had some lunch, and joined Nate and Jackson in the viewing of the UK/Princeton game. We won, barely! But it’s a win!
Here we are with our brackets – me at 11&1 and Nate at 8&4. Yes I’m beating him. Not for long, I’m sure- but I’ll take what I can get.
March Madness is surprisingly fun. I never knew I could really get into basketball, but then again I haven’t tried super hard. Every now and then I’ll pay 100% attention to UK game and really enjoy it but I’m pretty ADD about the whole thing so I just never know if I’m going to have what it takes to focus. Ha. But this whole bracket thing has me feeling pretty intense, especially since I’m actually doing well!
Tonight is Ashley’s birthday get together downtown and I’m sad I wont be there. =( Thursdays are hard to plan with a late night in mind, coupled with an early work morning. Boo. I feel so old. I probably would’ve gone if I didn’t have to take Biscuit to the vet in the morning for his “snip, snip” surgery. I’m a little anxious about the whole thing honestly, but it needs to be done so I’m glad it will be over with! Brittany and I went and looked for a carrier this afternoon and let me just say- bunnies are extremely discriminated against! I mean really- what is with all of this stuff for every other pet on the planet? I know dogs and cats reign supreme but give me a break Pet Smart- you only have this one carrier meant for a rabbit in stock? And you wont check the back for me for the smaller size it says that you have RIGHT HERE? And you don’t think you’ll be getting any more EVER? And this one is missing it’s shoulder strap, and wrinkling in weird places? But anyway.. I bought it. It’s pink and green and the the little screen windows are in the shape of hearts. I was really trying not to make Biscuit any less manly tomorrow than I had to, but his carrier is pink and girly with hearts on it. It was unavoidable. I may return it because basically every store in town carries the one that I DO want, but they only have it online. So I may just buy that one after I use this one.. and return it. Assuming there is no wear on this one after one use. We’ll see!

I need to work on getting a pretty little present together for my Ashley. I just over think my present giving too much.. usually resulting in that person not getting anything for months after their actual birthday. I have this GREAT idea but I’m going to have to downsize on it because that idea got expensive quick, ha! And when I went to the mall last night to try and find something else.. guess what I did? Yep. I bought something for myself. So um.. *scratches head* .. I’m a really bad friend. But I just didn’t see anything that said, ASHLEY.. and I like my gifts to be perfect. Don’t judge me.
PS: We so don’t look like that anymore. Ha!
