Happy Valentine’s Day Eve

This is our very first Valentine’s Day as a married couple, and technically we will be apart the entire day at work! Kind of sad, but not a big deal at the same time. I’ve never put very much emphasis on this holiday to be honest. That may make me a weird girl but it’s the truth! Of course, I’d be a complete liar if I said I didn’t like receiving flowers and my sweet Husband knows this.

Day 44 of 365 Days of Marriage

We went out to lunch at Five Guys with Nate’s Mom & Dad and went a few other places, but I spent most of my day feeling like a ball of exhaustion on the couch. I completely forgot about the potluck at work tomorrow because of how blah I felt and so Nate offered to go pick up something from the store for me to take. Thank goodness for him! While he was out he picked up these beautiful roses and surprised me with them. He knows when I need some cheering up and always does a good job of it.

Whether you’re in a relationship or not- I hope you all have a wonderful Valentine’s Day! But don’t put too much pressure on it because after all, it’s just another day. =) And a Monday at that. Ha.

**PS: This photo is a mixed edit of two photos! Bahaha. Neither Nate or I could look normal in the same picture so I combined our best poses into one. Oh boy, I am truly a nerd. (And he’s wearing new clothes that we bought today- looking so handsome!)
