Well, I’m still coughing. In fact, I’m coughing more now than I have the entire time that I’ve been sick- over a week now. But, the end is near and I see the light at the end of the tunnel. I just have a feeling this ridiculous cough will be hanging on for a while. Yuck.
And even though I felt/feel like crap, Nate and I went to the store tonight when I got off of work at 7pm. We literally had nothing for dinner. I mean, I suppose we could’ve had a meal consisting of cinnamon roll cake muffins and shredded cheese, but- no.
See? Mmm. They make a tasty breakfast, but I wasn’t feeling that for dinner. (LOL at how they splooged out everywhere.) Anyway, we went to the store. And I left a bag at the self check out … and we got home… and had to drive all the way back to the store to get it. SO finally, we got home and ate a mature meal of Skyline chilli spaghetti (the TV dinner) covered in shredded cheese and a deli sub sandwich. If you guessed that the Skyline was mine- you’d be correct. I never turn down a reason to eat noodles, or cheese covered noodles. The real point of me telling you all this is that I need to remind myself that we’re trying really hard to eat healthier and not spend SO much money on eating whatever we want.. so tonight was kind of like.. the last hoorah, if you will. And I wasted it on a Skyline TV dinner. ;] (BUT, I did have amazing Chinese food yesterday!)
But yeah, throw work in there and this was my day. Which was much better than yesterday considering I backed over a stop sign and a speed limit sign.. at the same time. The lesson to be learned here? Don’t drive when you have a fever.. I think it’s kind of equal to being drunk. Also? Hold your ground and don’t be the one to move out of the way/back up when the idiot in front of you is the one going the wrong way down a one way street.
