We drove up to Cincinnati late yesterday afternoon. It was fun times indeed.
Our first stop after arriving at Jackson & Kristie’s was Arthur’s, and may I just say- YUM! They have awesome burgers. I got the “Pepperjack Burger” and added grilled onions- delish! I can also attest to their very yummy Raspberry Margaritas that only cost a whopping 5 bucks! We watched some of the Red’s game there and the headed over to the Beer Sellar after we finished eating to watch the rest of the game.

That place is awesome! It’s right on the edge of the Ohio River. It was pretty deserted when we first got there but the crowd really picked up as we got into the game. They have a giant beer selection (which you might have guessed) and I literally had the best beer ever. And it aint cheap (in terms of beer)- gotta love my expensive taste.

We had a good time there, made a few more stops, and then headed back to the apartment for the night where we ordered pizza, watched Seinfeld, and (I) passed out curled up in a tiny ball on the futon. Today, we slept in and headed to Findlay Market for some amazing lunch and gelato! I didn’t get a picture of either, but here is our view from where we ate! That place is so pretty!

We eventually ended up here:

And then headed home mostly empty handed (Nate bought two glasses). We’re going to go back with a list of things we’d like to buy, so today was a little like a preview. We didn’t want to go running around the store grabbing things and then realize that we really have no place for the things we bought.
We’re home now. And I’m lounging in the comfy chair. I’m exhausted and I have plenty of things that I need to be doing but guess what? I’m not doing them. My Step-Dad’s parents are coming into town this Wednesday to visit so naturally I want to make sure everything looks perfect for company! But, the procrastinator in me knows that there’s plenty of time to do all of that! (right!) Nate has this week off of work and I am extremely jealous, but trying to contain it. 😉 I’m sure that I’ll live though!

Thats so great! We're going to IKEA next weekend to get some bookshelves and a desk for my bedroom. I'm really excited because once thats happened I can buy my iMac. Hooray!
Did you know I found your website by searching "Nikon D5000?"? I also had a wishlist of things I loved/wanted and I was obsessed with it before I brought my DSLR. I ended up getting a Canon instead but yeah. Thats how I found your original blog.
I can't get my iMac for about two and a half months though because we're going back to New Zealand for 3-5 weeks. I'm not exactly a patient person, so this is going to be tough.
Anyway, yay for IKEA!
