Thrifting and finding a super good clearance deal = my favorite! I’m not really sure what my style is these days.. but I’m having fun playing around with it and feeling a little more like ME in what I’m wearing. Warped Tour heart, coffee shop soul vibes? ✨😆

So lately I’ve been paying attention.

The clothes I want to wear.

The hobbies I want to try.

The spaces I want to create.

The things that make me feel like myself.

Maybe this is exactly what your late 30s are for. Not becoming someone new.. but remembering who you are.✨

I still just sit and stare at them in disbelief sometimes.. my twin babies.. my last babies.. and somehow they’ve been here for 4 whole years. If you’re a twin mom, you know that the time passes different. The early stages are a blur in a way I don’t even know how to explain. It makes it all a bit more bittersweet.

I love you Bennett & Everett! 💙💙

Universal was a blast. I hadn’t been since I was Universal was a blast. I hadn’t been since I was a teenager and I only vaguely remembered a ride or two! There was so much to do for the littlest brothers and aside from being HOT, it was perfect.

Everett was big mad at us for taking him on the SpiderMan ride and did not trust our judgement the rest of the time. 🤣 He LOVED the 1 Fish 2 Fish ride and wanted to ride that all day.

Bennett on the other hand was all about the thrills and the Trollercoaster was his favorite. He said it was “Torrifying” but he made us all ride it with him multiple times.

I rode Velocicoaster with Nate, Landon, and Maile. And while I would do it again - for a moment I did think I might die. I only did that once. 🤣 Nate and Landon rode it multiple times. Hagrid’s was more my speed and Cohen agrees with me!

I am a Disney girl at heart! But Disney doesn’t have a *real life* baby dinosaur that you can pet sooo there’s some competition. 😆

The Great Diaper Bag Debate

I’ve spent a ridiculous amount of time looking at diaper bags online. What have I found? For the most part, they’re either A) ugly and affordable or B) beautiful, but also more than my monthly car payment. I’ve never been the type of girl to buy a $300 purse. I’ve actually never been the type of girl to spend more than $50 on a bag (and that would be a SPECIAL bag that I kept forever). I’m just not wired to splurge on things like that. So this whole diaper bag situation is kind of difficult for me. But I know I’d rather spend $100 on a bag that lasts me for years than $30 on a bag that falls apart a few months down the road. Here are a few that I have my eye on. What do you think? Which would you go with?

1) Fawn Design – The Doe – $129.95

I like this diaper bag a lot and I think it’s number one on my list right now. It looks like there is plenty of room inside without being too big. The design is exactly what I’m looking for – it’s gender neutral and can be worn as a back pack. I want something that Nate can carry as well without feeling ridiculous. This is at the higher end of my price point but feels like a reasonable price for a bag that is handmade of quality materials that will last! I really like the idea of supporting a small business owner!

2) Fjall Raven – Kanken – $75

So this isn’t actually a diaper bag at all but I’ve seen a lot of people using it as one on Pinterest! I’ve seen most people using the smaller version called the Kanken Mini but I envision carrying my DSLR and regular purse items in it as well, so I like the bigger one. Again, I like that it’s gender neutral and kind of casual. AND it’s a back pack. Are you seeing a trend? But this one can’t be worn as a cross body bag so it’s not quite as versatile. I *do* really like that the straps snap at the top making it easy to snap right onto a stroller for easy access on the go.

3) Ju-Ju-Be – Legacy B.F.F. – $180

I said the first bag was at the higher end of my price point and then I managed to find another one I like that is slightly more expensive. I’ve heard a lot of good things about this brand though and it seems to have more of the features that one might need/find handy in a diaper bag than the other two. It’s machine washable, it has a million pockets – some lined with thinsulate to keep things hot/cold, a liner that is treated to inhibit the growth of mold, etc. I like the idea of it being easy to keep clean and easy to organize. Not to mention (once again) it converts into a backpack. I think the polka dot pattern is my favorite. I know it’s not the manliest bag but it’s still a good compromise! I could certainly choose something with a floral pattern. ;]

So, what do you think? One of these diaper bags will be mine after a few Pure Romance parties – I’m just not sure which one it will be! Love that my little side hobby/job can provide me with items that I would not have otherwise bought for myself.

I actually hate all “diaper bags”. I ended up using a zippered utility tote from thirty one and I love it! Affordable a d fit my needs better!

I had a hard time picking one as well. I ended up with the jujube bff in the first lady print. I think it will be handy to be able to use as a backpack as well as an over the shoulder bag! The reviews sold me despite the dollar sign. And they have a huge resale value if you keep good care of it!
