I told myself that 2026 would be the year I would I told myself that 2026 would be the year I would get ‘me’ back and I suppose I have been on a mission! ❤️‍🔥

I’ve had this Anberlin tattoo floating around in my brain for yearsss. Finally talked through it with a friend, shared my ideas with @alexandratattoo , and she made them all come to ✨LIFE!✨ Had the best time enjoying several hours of girl talk, good music, and tattoo therapy with her - truly it is therapy and she is the best of the best!!!

I’m not sure I could ever put into words what Anberlin’s music has meant to me over the years. If you feel that way about music in any capacity - you get it. It’s definitely one of those ‘if you know, you know’ things. My Dad was a musician and he certainly passed that feeling down to me. Love that I carry that with me!

And now I get to carry pieces of my favorite band with me. 🖤🎶
Happy birthday to my SEVEN year old tiny bebe Cohe Happy birthday to my SEVEN year old tiny bebe Cohen! He rolled his eyes at me when I said it’s crazy that he went from 6…to 7! If you know you know.

Cohen is so sweet, kind, helpful, and smart. He loves building hot wheels tracks, setting up play areas for his little brothers, swimming, NASCAR, baseball, and never sitting still or being quiet… ever. 😆

I’m so thankful God chose me to be his mom! I love you Cohen!! Happy birthday!!

I have the MOST FUN any time I’m in front of Michelle’s camera. She is so fun to hang out with and it ends up being the best girl time + hair and makeup! Y’all know I have 4 kids and I work from home.. I don’t get to feel fancy very often! If you like laughing until your cheeks hurt (your face cheeks) and feeling 🔥 - book a shoot with her! 10/10 highly recommend.

Thank goodness for spring. 🌸 2026 has been kin Thank goodness for spring. 🌸

2026 has been kind of a weird, wild ride so far, but full of good things. I started a new job! And that has taken up a lot of my time (in a good way), so I’ve been a little bit quiet around here.

I’m trying as hard as I can to prioritize myself more these days. Finally went to the doctor and did some blood work. Turns out, I’m severely anemic. I’m hoping I’ll start feeling better and little more awake after I start my iron. 😅 Maybe I can lay off the coffee a little bit. (J/k)

I can’t believe it’s almost April after we went through 3 years of January, but I’m not mad about it! Ready to relax outside on patios with family/friends and enjoy our kiddos running around. We made it. 🖤

And he said this to his social media loving picture taking wife who is finally feeling the sunlight on her face after months of seasonal depression. 🤪 Might just turn this into a Nate appreciation account. Stay tuned.😉

365 Project 2015: Days 8, 9, 10, 11

365 Project 2015: Day 8
365 Project 2015: Day 8

Wednesday night I did a Pure Romance party for some close friends. It was an absolute BLAST! Between my demo and their hilarious input, we kept each other laughing the entire night. My face actually hurt from laughing when I got home. I walked in the door, walked upstairs, collapsed on the bed and thought about how lucky I am to get paid to have girls nights out! This is the good kind of tired!

365 Project 2015: Day 9365 Project 2015: Day 9

The excitement of the night before left me pretty tired the next day. I went to an aerial class, came home to Nate making a yummy dinner and we went to bed a little earlier than usual.

365 Project 2015: Day 10365 Project 2015: Day 10

It started snowing Friday afternoon and into the evening. I love snow on the weekends! We awoke to a winter wonderland on Saturday morning. We got around 5 inches – definitely the most snow we’ve seen this winter.

365 Project 2015: Day 11365 Project 2015: Day 11

I woke up early yesterday to get on top of some of the things on my to do list. Nate went with me to the post office to ship out a few Pure Romance orders. I worked on some of my business related to-do’s when we got home and filled out our bill/important date calendar for February. We met my Mother-in-law a little bit later at Babies R US to pick up the crib we ordered last weekend (she has a large vehicle)! While we were there we ran across a Graco Pack and Play that was on clearance. They gave us an extra 30% off since it was a floor model – it is *so* nice and in perfect condition. In total, we spent $30 on our crib and pack and play combined due to using gift cards and coupons! I can’t complain about that! A bit later we went back out to buy Nate a new pair of shoes and to pick out some paint for the nursery. I kept going back and forth on what I wanted to do – statement wall, no statement wall? I haven’t picked out bedding yet but I know the general color scheme I’m going for. So after browsing Pinterest for a bit in the car I decided on a swatch, walked in Home Depot, and asked them to mix it up! No standing around in the paint section for a year.

Nate painted the first coat last night and I am IN LOVE with it. The Behre paint that we always get has a primer already in it, but I was really skeptical about a light color going over a super dark color without a lot of effort. Uh – this stuff is amazing. Two coats will be perfect! We definitely bought too much of the paint in preparation for 3 or 4 coats – so we’ll be using that second can in both of our upstairs bathrooms! It’s the perfect neutral color and it really brightens everything up!

I did a little bit of cleaning and a little bit of relaxing with my iPad while Nate painted. Pure Romance has a new section to their consultant online office called “Party School”, which basically walks you through exactly how to be the best consultant you can be. I get points based on the sections completed and I’ll get free stuff for completing them – so I spent about an hour laying in bed with my iPad attending Party School/watching videos! It was funny because whenever I sat my iPad on my stomach, baby boy would KICK it and send it popping off my stomach a bit. Such strong kicks from such a little guy!
