Hey friends! I’ve been on a mission lately to find ways to make my life easier. Isn’t that the ultimate goal when you have little ones? I think so! In my mind, I’m a tool-belt-wearing-DIY’er who can do hard things (thanks Instagram) but the reality of it is that I will just never get around to finishing a task if it seems too daunting. What Comes in The Package?
This is what comes inside. You can absolutely use the screws that come with it to make it more secure but I decided not to do that because the tape that comes on each piece of the lock is STRONG. I immediately called my kiddos over to try and open the door and they could not do it. I pulled on it as hard as I could and it didn’t budge! I placed it high enough that they would have to climb on something to even attempt to unlock it but even if they managed to get up there I don’t think they could figure it out. There is a small piece that can be inserted to keep the lock from being opened which requires a key to pull it out, so if your kids are little magicians, that extra safety measure is for you!
Overall, I am 100% satisfied with this product. This has been the easiest extra safety measure I have added to our home and I feel so much better knowing that my kids won’t be able to open the door if I don’t want them to.
