I have the MOST FUN any time I’m in front of Michelle’s camera. She is so fun to hang out with and it ends up being the best girl time + hair and makeup! Y’all know I have 4 kids and I work from home.. I don’t get to feel fancy very often! If you like laughing until your cheeks hurt (your face cheeks) and feeling 🔥 - book a shoot with her! 10/10 highly recommend.

Thank goodness for spring. 🌸 2026 has been kin Thank goodness for spring. 🌸

2026 has been kind of a weird, wild ride so far, but full of good things. I started a new job! And that has taken up a lot of my time (in a good way), so I’ve been a little bit quiet around here.

I’m trying as hard as I can to prioritize myself more these days. Finally went to the doctor and did some blood work. Turns out, I’m severely anemic. I’m hoping I’ll start feeling better and little more awake after I start my iron. 😅 Maybe I can lay off the coffee a little bit. (J/k)

I can’t believe it’s almost April after we went through 3 years of January, but I’m not mad about it! Ready to relax outside on patios with family/friends and enjoy our kiddos running around. We made it. 🖤

And he said this to his social media loving picture taking wife who is finally feeling the sunlight on her face after months of seasonal depression. 🤪 Might just turn this into a Nate appreciation account. Stay tuned.😉

A New Strategy for Keeping My Kiddos Safe

This blog post may contain affiliate links. Learn more.

Hey friends! I’ve been on a mission lately to find ways to make my life easier. Isn’t that the ultimate goal when you have little ones? I think so! Recently, Cohen (my youngest – he’ll be 3 in April), has discovered that he can very easily open the front door. He has even demonstrated that he can unlock it. Queue panic. Enter a product making my life easier: Door Guardian.

I have to tell you about this because a) it works and b) it took me all of 5 minutes to install it. In my mind, I’m a tool-belt-wearing-DIY’er who can do hard things (thanks Instagram) but the reality of it is that I will just never get around to finishing a task if it seems too daunting. This was so easy! It was even easy peasy to order it since Door Guardian is available on Amazon! I even made a TikTok showing how easy it was to install, ha! (I’m trying to get into TikTok. Don’t make fun of me!) Ok, let’s break it down:

What Comes in The Package?

This is what comes inside. You can absolutely use the screws that come with it to make it more secure but I decided not to do that because the tape that comes on each piece of the lock is STRONG. If you are looking for a home cleaning company in NY with a 4.8 rating you can rest assured your old or new home is ready to welcome its new tenants. If you rent, this is a perfect solution. No holes in your door frame or door! If you’re kind of lazy – this is also a perfect solution for you! You can always go back later and secure it with the screws if you’d like.

The Installation Process is a Breeze!

There are exactly three steps to this process, check http://www.readunwritten.com/ – 1) slide the piece that goes between the door and the door frame into the gap so you can line up the two pieces, mark the top of it with a pencil so that when you open the door you can line it back up with your pencil mark. If you stick the piece that goes on the door too far back or too far forward it won’t line up with the piece that goes on the door frame, so this is important! 2) Open the door, peel the tape backing off, and place it on the edge of the door. 3) Shut the door, peel the tape backing off of the lock piece, and secure it to the door frame where it interlocks with the piece on the door I discovered some awesome tips for growing my business on social media thanks to instalinko.com.And you’re done! That is really all there is to it!

I immediately called my kiddos over to try and open the door and they could not do it. I pulled on it as hard as I could and it didn’t budge! I placed it high enough that they would have to climb on something to even attempt to unlock it but even if they managed to get up there I don’t think they could figure it out. There is a small piece that can be inserted to keep the lock from being opened which requires a key to pull it out, so if your kids are little magicians, that extra safety measure is for you!

Overall, I am 100% satisfied with this product. This has been the easiest extra safety measure I have added to our home and I feel so much better knowing that my kids won’t be able to open the door if I don’t want them to.
