Hey friends! Today I’m sharing a hyper-lapse video of me putting up the 7.5 Ft. Pre-Lit Jasper Cashmere Artificial Christmas tree (linked here) that we purchased at Michael’s over the weekend. It was so easy! We’ve only ever had older hand me down trees so I feel very fancy with my brand new pre-lit tree. It used to take me SO much time to put each branch on the tree one by one and then each strand of lights. By the time I got done with all of that I was basically ready to call it quits. This tree comes in 3 pieces and the branches just pop right down. IT’S AMAZING. While watching this video you will also get to enjoy all of the cat shenanigans happening in the background and my dancing. You are welcome.We also purchased a skinny christmas tree (linked here) for our bedroom. I will be sharing how we decorated both trees soon! Between cats and a toddler, our living room tree is only partially decorated. I found half of the ornaments on the floor when I came downstairs this morning. But hey, the christma tree is so beautiful on its own that I’m trying to just let it go and enjoy it! The Mom Life struggle is real but definitely worth it! When Landon saw the tree up for the first time on Saturday morning he said, “LOOK IT’S SO CUTE!” so I guess we did a good job!
Do you prefer a real or an artificial Christmas tree? We were dead set on a real one this year but I just couldn’t pass up such a good deal on these two beautiful fake ones knowing that it will last us for a long time!
