The DugOuts

Softball is back! This means warm weather, tan lines *cough, burns/sunblock, cough*, cook outs, and hanging out/cheering with fellow wives and girlfriends (and babies!) in the bleachers. We got a little bit of a surprise when the team shirts were handed out at the first game on Wednesday- they all have my Father-in-law’s initials on the sleeve in his memory. So, so sweet. Nate is practically playing with his entire high school baseball team this year and I think that is just the coolest thing. Call me sentimental but I really only have one or two girlfriends left from high school, and we’re not super close because I live so far away. I think it’s great that Nate has kept so many of his childhood friends and that they’re playing ball together like the old days! (I’m seriously such a sap, I know.)




Here’s to many more warm sunny days and kicking lots of butt this season, all in good fun of course. ;]
