After Nate and I ran to the grocery store and picked up the absolute bare minimum of things that we needed- we came home, ate fast food (shame!), and watched some TV. I got this idea for a picture when I realized that I thought I was too exhausted to actually make it up the stairs to bed. But here I am- still awake. It’s hard to go to bed right away when you get off at 7pm though.
Tonight- I am announcing some very, very interesting.. and slightly disturbing news.
It’s a true story, folks. Apparently it’s very very common for tiny boy bunnies to be mistaken for girls when they’re little. So, all of this time we have been trying to force our poor boy bunny to be a female. Luckily the name Biscuit is a pretty either/or name, right? Ugh, this is going to be so hard to change though. To stop calling him a her! I wanted to be wrong (I have no problem with boys but, I THOUGHT SHE WAS A GIRL), but there are definitely.. things.. there .. that prove it. I guess we could go on pretending we don’t know, but that seems so wrong. ;]
We still love you baby, Biscuit. Our sweet .. boy!

Maybe now we have a reason to get a pretty little girl to be his BFF. (after they’re both spayed/neutered of course!)

AHAHAHAHAHAHA. *totally in love* He is very sophisticated and likes the finer things in life – boy or not.
Oh you know it. I've taught him well! 😉
so cute!!
MIND WARP. We had that happen with our cats when we first got them (a century ago), we thought they were both girls and gave them flowery girlie names…until we found out they were one of each! Definitely changed the naming process!
It’s just so weird. I can’t wrap my head around it. My GIRL is a BOY. lkdjlsdlkfjs.
