People do not know me but I will pretend. 😜

Reading that description makes me want to get some creativity flowing in this space and on my blog again, though! I’ve just been working and mom’ing - but I miss creating!

Day 20 of 365 Days of Marriage

A simple snap in the car! This was on our way to our appointment with our tax guy to get some things figured out which ended up being all for nothing. We have to do a, b, and c before we can go further because we weren’t married in 2009… after we told him over and over that we weren’t married in 2009. So he did a bunch of work for nothing and we wasted like 30 minutes. Haha. Oh well. It was only annoying because we had just been there yesterday, and it was absolutely pouring snow on our commute home. The roads are pretty bad right now and I’m hoping they’re clear in the morning.

After we got home I finally caught my cleaning bug (I’ve been wondering where it’s been!) and cleaned up my kitchen. I can’t make dinner in a messy kitchen. I just can’t! I have this particular recipe bookmarked because I always forget little things, “How much cheese did she use?”. I’ve made this quick and easy quiche a few times, but I still like looking at the the recipe! Here are a few pictures from the making of our dinner:

waiting on my broccoli to finish steaming.

eggs & cheese all ready to go!

broccoli added…

in the oven at 350 for about 50 minutes

all done and ready to go with a salad!

Yum, yum, yum!

And- a picture of some snow and my new purse!! Just to add a little more into this post. ;] We’ve probably got around 6-7 inches on the ground now!

Full size photos all on my flickr.

How do you process your photos?! That picture of you and Nate looks so shiny! I must know. Haha

Yummmmy look dinner! I can't cook but youre seriously making me want to!

    Very cute purse btw.. <3

Im in Ohio and we got hit hard with snow. I hate it. 🙁

Alsoooo, I hope asking this isn't rude, but I have always wondered.. what on earth do you and Nate do for a living? You have a beautiful house and very nice tech gear ;)!

    Just wondered. 🙂

I actually didn't do much to that picture at all! I upped the tint by like 20 in lightroom just to make it a little less dark with a little added yellowish color. That's it!

And let me tell you- anyone can cook. That quiche is the simplest thing ever. Really. 🙂 If I can cook- anyone can cook!!

You're not really that far from us probably, we probably see a lot of the same weather. I'm pretty tired of this snow crap.. seriously. My Mom said it was 80 in my hometown yesterday. I was sad. Haha.

Anndd lastly, no that's not a rude question at all! Without going into too much detail, I work for an insurance company and Nate works in the auto industry. 🙂 I bought a lot of my "tech gear" when we were living with his parents without many expenses. So glad I did because we sure don't have the budget for it now!

That purse is gorgeous. Let's do a trade when you get bored of it. 😉

I would love to make that broccoli quiche but Shaun hates broccoli. Maybe I'll make it for myself, my mom and my sisters or something.

So excited to come see you in like two weeks! That's insane!!!!!

I always take my laptop with me in the kitchen for recipes, too. Looks good & easy, I'll have to try it!
