I have the MOST FUN any time I’m in front of Michelle’s camera. She is so fun to hang out with and it ends up being the best girl time + hair and makeup! Y’all know I have 4 kids and I work from home.. I don’t get to feel fancy very often! If you like laughing until your cheeks hurt (your face cheeks) and feeling 🔥 - book a shoot with her! 10/10 highly recommend.

Thank goodness for spring. 🌸 2026 has been kin Thank goodness for spring. 🌸

2026 has been kind of a weird, wild ride so far, but full of good things. I started a new job! And that has taken up a lot of my time (in a good way), so I’ve been a little bit quiet around here.

I’m trying as hard as I can to prioritize myself more these days. Finally went to the doctor and did some blood work. Turns out, I’m severely anemic. I’m hoping I’ll start feeling better and little more awake after I start my iron. 😅 Maybe I can lay off the coffee a little bit. (J/k)

I can’t believe it’s almost April after we went through 3 years of January, but I’m not mad about it! Ready to relax outside on patios with family/friends and enjoy our kiddos running around. We made it. 🖤

And he said this to his social media loving picture taking wife who is finally feeling the sunlight on her face after months of seasonal depression. 🤪 Might just turn this into a Nate appreciation account. Stay tuned.😉

Stage Fright

I’ve been blogging for quite a long time- most of you know that. But my blog has stayed relatively unknown among people that I actually know. As I’ve started to really put a lot of effort into making this little place mean something to me, I’ve found myself evaluating why that is. I guess maybe it’s because I express myself a lot through my blog and it’s a little bit scary to share that with everyone. Maybe they’ll think differently of me because of what I write here or because of the pictures I post here- etc. “Oohhh look at her, she thinks she’s a model!” But the more I think about this, the more it kills me. I am a twenty-three year old married woman. I enjoy photography and documenting my take on personal style, my life with Nate, fun with family and friends, etc! This is what I like to do. Building websites- I’m good at that! Taking pictures- whether or not I’m good, I have fun doing that! Putting together outfits and inspiring other people- I hope that I’m good at that, and if I’m not I really don’t care because I enjoy it so much! Writing- I absolutely need this in my life to survive, and I enjoy doing it in such a place where I can receive feedback and build friendships.

So from now on. No more stage fright. All my life I’ve loved to sing. I’ve sang the National Anthem in front of thousands of people – but if I had to sing in front of 10 of my closest friends and family I’d probably pass out. ;] That’s ridiculous. Those are the people you should be able to be yourself in front of, right? I’m proud of who I am and my interests.

I hope that anyone I know that might be reading this will respect this as my little creative outlet. And if you don’t like something, feel free to just pretend that it doesn’t exist. =) But that’s always been my motto for any visitor. Otherwise, I’m happy that you’re here!

When all my real life friends and family started reading, it made a big difference in what I wrote — if I was mad at someone, but they read, I didn't feel like I could write about it, or I had to keep it more oriented so no one felt left out. Sigh. Some does I just say whatever and write what I want!

I know what you mean. But I really have gotten away from writing so openly anyway. If I have something like that I usually password protect it nowadays. So, I don't think it should change much.

I'm not going out of my way to introduce a lot of people to my website but if they were to come across it via facebook because someone else "liked" my page or whatever I wouldn't want to be unprepared for that. That's all. 🙂

You know what is kind of funny, The people I'm closest to know but my blog – but don't bother to read it! lol.

I like your no stage fright attitude! You are you and don't be afraid to show it 😉 if they don't like it or think it's dumb… they don't have to read!!

This is actually one of the few blogs (actually, the only one) that I read daily. You're very inspiring.

I am at that awkward point in my life where Im needing to write more and more to get out things that I feel. I think doing the 365 project really helps.

Also, I would LOVE if you would help me set up a wordpress blog sometime. I love yours! You have a gift! I used to be half decent at that stuff, but now… not so much. lol

Aw. That makes me happy. 🙂 You are very inspiring, too! I love your Tumblr.

And your photography website looks wonderful! But I'd love to help you with wordpress. The key is getting a really easy to use core theme to edit and make your own. If I didn't have that I'd be doomed.
