Honestly I can’t believe a band tee didn’t mak Honestly I can’t believe a band tee didn’t make it into this mix. 🎶🤘🏻 But there’s a @drpepper t-shirt so that’s even better! I’ve been having so much fun lately remixing things I’ve had for years along with a few new pieces!

Thrifting and finding a super good clearance deal = my favorite! I’m not really sure what my style is these days.. but I’m having fun playing around with it and feeling a little more like ME in what I’m wearing. Warped Tour heart, coffee shop soul vibes? ✨😆

I think sometime between becoming a mom, working, I think sometime between becoming a mom, working, keeping up with a house, and trying to take care of everyone else… I forgot to ask myself what I actually like.

So lately I’ve been paying attention.

The clothes I want to wear.

The hobbies I want to try.

The spaces I want to create.

The things that make me feel like myself.

Maybe this is exactly what your late 30s are for. Not becoming someone new.. but remembering who you are.✨

I still just sit and stare at them in disbelief sometimes.. my twin babies.. my last babies.. and somehow they’ve been here for 4 whole years. If you’re a twin mom, you know that the time passes different. The early stages are a blur in a way I don’t even know how to explain. It makes it all a bit more bittersweet.

I love you Bennett & Everett! 💙💙

Every Day Life · June 30, 2017

Hi, Hello. A Life Update.

Good Morning
I haven’t taken a moment to write anything personal lately. We have been so busy! In a good way! But even the good things are still totally exhausting when Nate and I both work full time jobs. I guess you could say that I’m excited about life right now. I hate to be vague but there are some really fantastic and life changing things on the horizon. Not to mention, we have a vacation planned for July. Nate and I will be spending a few baby-free days in Vegas and I cannot wait to be poolside, drink in hand, slathered in SPF 4000.

I’ve been feeling really thankful lately. I’ve found myself looking around at the toys strewn across my living room or thinking about the chores that need to be done and just feeling… thankful. There is still overwhelm but I can shut that down a bit when I realize how blessed I am to have so many good things on my plate. I’m thankful for my job and for my Mom, who is at my house every single day so Landon can stay at home while I work. I am thankful for the chaos and the busy schedule. I’ve been enjoying spending time with friends, building new friendships, and just putting myself out there! I’ve been working on my blog, too. Sometimes I don’t post as consistently as I’d like but I always have other blog related things going on in the background and that feels like progress. I have my posts all planned out for the month of July so I’m feeling pretty on top of things at the moment!

Landon is so much fun right now. He is the sweetest little boy. He constantly runs up to give us “a hug, a pat, a kiss”. He loves cars, trucks, and tractors. Basically anything with “cute tires”. When I got my hair cut short a few weeks ago he didn’t seem to notice but then a day later I picked him up while looking in the mirror and he grabbed my face and said, “Hair so pretty!” When I say he’s sweet and adorable, I’m not being biased, I swear! That being said, he’s also rotten! He’s currently obsessed with Mighty Machines on Netflix, Blaze and The Monster Machines, and Paw Patrol. He wants to watch them constantly and he lures us to the couch and asks to “snuggle blanket” while we watch a show. Dude, how can you even turn that down?! He also requests that we eat “pizzy” (Peet-Z), “chicky” (chicken), and fries for every meal. We can’t accommodate that request but there is a part of me that wishes we could because it makes him so happy. And when we go into the mall these days we cannot avoid the Disney store. He KNOWS it’s there and he knows there is a new car with his name on it. It’s amazing to me how quickly he has figured out just how to get exactly what he wants!

July is going to be so busy but so, so good. I didn’t feel great this past week and I was pretty bummed that I had to take it easy but I’m finally starting to feel more like myself! I’m looking forward to being super productive over this upcoming 4 day weekend! I’m taking my very first trapeze class tomorrow and I’m super excited to spend lots of time with friends and family! I’m hoping to also spend some time cleaning and rearranging some things. You know when that little creative bug just hits and you NEED to make some changes? That’s where I’m at right now! I have been flitting from room to room in my house just imagining what I want to do. Mostly, I need to declutter and get organized. Send me your tips and inspiration – I can use all the help I can get!

How have you all been?! Tell me all about it! Leave me a comment with your most recent blog post or Instagram post. Let’s catch up!
