Hello Thankful Thursday, it’s nice to see you! This week I’m thankful for a few things, and it’s been a little while since I’ve done this so I feel like I’ve had time to save up a nice list! I’ll start with the most obvious…

This is by no means a shocking pick for Thankful Thursday, I’m sure. I’ve expressed my love for Biscuit quite a lot over the past few weeks. But, I haven’t really given an update on how she’s doing or how she’s adjusted to being our bunny.. or really given a lot of details about her at all. So! We’ve had her since October 17th making this weekend our third week of having her. She is two months old so I will guestimate her at 3 months on November 17th. If you think about it, that makes her birthday August 17th! My birthday! When she’s 4 months old we can start giving her little treats like slices of banana and carrots. =) We may have already slipped her *one* special tiny piece of banana because she absolutely lost her mind when she smelled Nate peeling a banana in the kitchen. From day one we noticed that she has a full on foot fetish. She loves for one of us to sit on the floor and let her hop over our feet and run around them. And if you’re wearing shoes she will try to chew them off of your feet. She loves to CHEW, but that’s quite a common bunny characteristic. We’ve purchased the proper chewing toys but she would much rather chew your shoes, a wire/cable, or the carpet.. which she sometimes becomes obsessed with and tries to rip out of the floor. These are not things we love and we clap loudly and tell her no.. and so far it works.. most of the time. We’ve had to put up a baby gate on the stairs because she loves them and sneaks to second floor when we aren’t looking. And something that I will be bringing to a video near you very soon.. she’s a complete spazz. You know the way cats shake their butt before they attack something? She does that.. and takes off to run circles around the couches. She hops sideways straight into the air and literally loses her mind running all over the living room.. and there’s no other way to explain it without showing you all. It’s basically the cutest thing ever. ALSO? She sits on her hind feet and looks around.. and also washes herself in that position. I really can’t express how thankful we really are for her or how awesome she is!
Nate and I were both pretty horribly sick- missing 5 days of work between the two of us. I’m happy to say that we are finally mostly over it! I am still coughing but I feel fine. I’m extremely thankful for this because it has been quite a strain on spending time with one another when we were both so miserable. And it just makes life sad when you’re both half dead and can’t have any fun (alone time!) together. So it feels especially good to be healthy again.
This includes a lot of different things.. but it’s so true. I’m thankful for a possible first “snow” (flurries/showers) tomorrow. I’m thankful for the new friends I’ve made over this past year and the mixing of new and old friends! I’m thankful for silly things… like finding a super pretty and affordable apron. =) I’m thankful that I’m getting paid tomorrow!

love the apron. where did you get it?
Marshalls 🙂 $12!
Yay, Biscuit! She is cute and glad she is keeping you company!
Also really glad you are feeling better, know that must have been miserable for you to feel dead and not even miss work for fun reasons!
I *must* see Biscuit!!! omgsh… I'm so jealous 🙂 We were really close to getting a bunny a year or so ago but I wasn't brave enough to bunny-proof the house. Now I'm baby proofing! lol
Ohhh goodness, I would imagine baby proofing to be MUCH harder. Biscuit is like, my test child. lol! There actually wasn't much to bunny proof. We got the baby gate of course, and we have pillows stuffed into the entertainment center and it's barricaded with a few other things. She wont go on the wood floors so, there's not much else to worry about.. other than some paint missing from the corner of a wall. Hmm.
