Thrifting and finding a super good clearance deal = my favorite! I’m not really sure what my style is these days.. but I’m having fun playing around with it and feeling a little more like ME in what I’m wearing. Warped Tour heart, coffee shop soul vibes? ✨😆

I think sometime between becoming a mom, working, I think sometime between becoming a mom, working, keeping up with a house, and trying to take care of everyone else… I forgot to ask myself what I actually like.

So lately I’ve been paying attention.

The clothes I want to wear.

The hobbies I want to try.

The spaces I want to create.

The things that make me feel like myself.

Maybe this is exactly what your late 30s are for. Not becoming someone new.. but remembering who you are.✨

I still just sit and stare at them in disbelief sometimes.. my twin babies.. my last babies.. and somehow they’ve been here for 4 whole years. If you’re a twin mom, you know that the time passes different. The early stages are a blur in a way I don’t even know how to explain. It makes it all a bit more bittersweet.

I love you Bennett & Everett! 💙💙

It’s In The Air.

This past weekend was such a breath of fresh air. Spring is everywhere you look.. and even if you were blind I promise you would know that the dogwood trees are in full bloom (they smell pretty awful). I’ve had to let things go lately. I usually criticize myself for not being on top of certain things, blogging always being near the top of the list! I just shut those thoughts off this weekend and enjoyed my time off of work: free. Basketball is kind of a big deal around here so we’ve been watching the NCAA tournament and checking our brackets. I’m doing really well again this year! It’s pretty ironic because I’m hardly the worlds biggest sports fan, but I DO really enjoy it in a group atmosphere. I’m actually winning the bracket pool at work right now- if I win, it’ll be like $100! Eep! I received my glasses from GlassesUSA on Friday and I’m super excited to show them to you guys! I’m working on a little review post. =)

A Lovely Saturday

Kristie and I went out and did a little bit of shopping on Sunday afternoon. Let me tell ya, sushi and shopping does wonders for the soul! So does girl time. I’ve always been the kind of gal who needs a few really good girlfriends and to have that hang out time now and then. Kristie and I haven’t hung out like that in a while so it was one of those things that felt long overdue. Kind of like eating delicious sushi and buying makeup- two other things I got to do that I don’t remember the last time I did them! It makes me glad that I don’t typically get to spend much money on things I don’t absolutely need though because when I do it really feels like such a treat!

In other completely amazing news, one of my best friends in the whole wide world got engaged over the weekend (her birthday- St. Patrick’s Day- to be exact)! Yes I’m referring to Ashley, for those of you who’ve been reading long enough to know her. I’m such a proud friend because man, what a wild ride it’s been to this spot in our lives! So many ups and downs and just, when you’ve been friends for as long as we’ve been you can kind of see the whole big picture finally coming together. All of the good and the bad. All of those times when you tell each other it will be okay and you so just wish you could see what was up ahead! And I’m just so incredibly happy that Brian was what was up ahead! By the way, she has a new blog so go check that out and encourage her to keep it up! ;]

I took a bunch of photos this weekend! I’m trying to get back into the habit of taking my camera everywhere. I really just love having the ability to capture something wonderful at any moment. I do this with my iPhone a lot, but it’s not the same!

How would you like to live here? We pass this house all of the time and I just swoon!

A Lovely Saturday

Jackson and Kristie have the most amazing backyard for photos. If I lived there I swear I would take outfit photos every day. (Yeah.. sure!)

And a few quick Instagrams from the weekend!

Have a great one! I promise to announce the winners of the Stickygram Giveaway this week. I just need to get my footing back around here and start to feel like I’m actually blogging and not just carrying out a sequence of repetitive updates. Thanks for being patient and lovely followers!

OMG, that house is HUGE. I want to know what they do for a living!!! LOL 😉

I love that second photo as well- the one of the bed and window. I just want to curl up there and fall asleep, lol. It looks so comfy!

That photo of our guest bedroom was a weird thing.. I was just walking by the room and stopped to look in because it looked so peaceful and I had my camera in my hand. 🙂

I bet the people that own that house own race horses but, that’s just my guess!

these photos are all so beautiful – i really love that photo of you in that adorable mustard jumper. and that house is amazing! i grew up in an area of cincinnati right next to the town where there are tons of huge houses and sarah jessica parker has a house in the neighborhood – i drove through it a lot since my town was 'next door' and all the houses are amazing estates like this!
