Thursday and Friday went by quickly and ended up being full of fun. We usually go to Trivia Night on Thursday nights but one of our key team members (Kristie) was sick! Brittany and I played outside and had a “photo shoot” after work because I was pretty much obsessed with her cute outfit all day and told her she needed to be a guest in an outfit post for my blog. She pretended I’m not weird and obliged. ;] She ended up skipping class and having dinner with us after Nate insisted on going out and buying her a steak and corn on the cob since that was what we were grilling. A little later after we ate we decided to head to Charlie Browns just to hang out and eat some Fried Hot Pepper Cheese (it’s exactly what you think it is: pepper jack fried cheese balls)! A few more of our friends ended up meeting us there for dinner and drinks. Fun times!
Friday was a fairly low key day. I worked, came home, and read a little in bed while the rain tapped peacefully on the windows. Nate and I were contemplating seeing the Abraham Lincoln movie that just came out when Kristie (who was/is feeling better) text me and invited us out to dinner. So we ate at Cheddar’s with she and Phlecia, and then had a quiet night in. It was fine by me because the weather was down right disgusting, and still is.
Today has been spent doing a few chores, taking outfit photos, finding out that it was a little too cold to wear that outfit anywhere, hanging around, uploading photos, and making a trip out to Bath & Body Works and Kohls. I had a coupon for Kohls and I scored the prettiest little floral kitten heel flats for $10! Nate also found a pair of jeans. I grabbed a few wall flowers from B&BW to try and freshen up the bunny smell. It’s not bad at all and normal people can’t smell it but my nose is ridiculous. I have a broccoli cheese quiche in the oven and the rest of the evening will be spent trying to bond our bunnies. I will let you all know how that goes!
