Yesterday was such a peaceful day. After watching the (extremely intense) UK game over at my In-Law’s, winning (thank goodness!), and coming home to relax – it was just so good. Nate and I spent time together and I had the most amazing two hour nap. I know that sounds like a long nap, but 20 minute naps are a no-go for me. I just wake up with a nap hangover and the rest of the day is dead to me. I probably would’ve slept right on into the night but Nate woke me up and said we were getting ready to leave to meet Jackson & Kristie to watch the tournament and hang out. So I crawled out of bed, freshened up a bit, and we left.
HA, hahaha. This photo is pretty amazing. Poor Nate can not keep his eyes open when there’s a flash involved and I think this was around the 4th or 5th take. He looks a little tipsy here but that was not the case at all! Jackson was just cracking us up with his commentary while he tried to take the pictures for us. So silly.
Kristie, Bobbie-Jo, and I played darts for quite a while over at our own little table while the guys watched the tournament a few tables over. A lady sitting at the table right behind us tried to play matchmaker by letting us know that there was a table of guys looking our way, but we burst her bubble when we told her that those were our guys. Haha! It was fun doing our own things for a little bit- pretending I was out for girls night but knowing that Nate was there when I wanted to go see him. :] I shared a grilled cheese with him and then us girls ordered a batch of onion rings. I’d say yesterday was a health fail. Maybe we worked it off playing darts? ;]

I still haven’t managed to get out of my pajamas today or even put my contacts in. I’ve started laundry though, so I feel like small accomplishments have been made. Did any of you get a look at the “Super Moon” last night? I woke up in the early morning to see it but in my half asleep stumble to the window I don’t remember being very impressed. I just remember it being really bright. It probably just wasn’t the right time to look. OH well! I think I’ll lay here on the couch a while and then see about being productive… we’ll see.
