Okay y’all, I’m new-ish to the meal planning game but I’m getting organized and I’m showing you my current method in this grocery haul! Don’t judge my pantry .. I swear I know where everything is in there. 😉 But hey, that’ll be a fun future clean with me video, wont it? I was a little off on some of my prices in the beginning – like the chicken that I thought was still on major sale but it wasn’t! Some other household/personal care items I picked up contributed to that as well. But hey, $25 off in coupons is pretty good!I didn’t talk much in the video about couponing aside from using the app and mPerks because other than the coupons that I receive in store or from Meijer in the mail, that’s all I use right now. I am signed up for Ibotta and Checkout 51. I am using them but I still getting used to the apps and figuring out how to really save with them. I am going to start meal planning around the items listed on those apps as well to maximize cash back! It sounds like a lot BUT I think it may help me try out some new products and get even more creative with meals!
I am pretty loyal to Meijer at the moment. There are several other grocery stores that I enjoy shopping at but in the end I usually end up at Meijer for everything because ONE trip is convenient and that is where I have the most coupons. Landon is usually with me and by the end of our grocery trip he is wild and ready to go play. So the thought of dragging him to multiple stores is a NO. I have thought of using Wal-Mart’s free pickup service for a handful of items so I wont have to get him back out. Have you tried it? If not you can get $10 towards your order right here! I have used it a few times in a pinch! I like it for smaller orders, so I think I may try out this method!
