Quinoa is one of my favorite simple foods to make! It’s high in nutrients, gluten-free, and super versatile. If you’re a mom, you need more quick and easy superfoods in your repertoire, right?! Maybe you’ve been making quinoa dishes for years and you’re giving me the side eye right now wondering what rock I’ve been living under. I hear ya. I’ve been seeing delicious sounding recipes all over Pinterest for a long time but I just never gave any of them a try!
I went back and forth on whether or not to buy this felt Christmas tree for Landon. There were a few cheaper options to choose from but this one seemed to be the best quality. And in the end, I want it to last for several years to come! If you’ve met my toddler you know that he’s not always gentle with things! So far, this has been such a good purchase. He absolutely loves it. He spent half the day taking the ornaments off and putting them back on. (And trying to eat a few of them. Sigh.)
I can’t believe this baby is a year and a half! He officially turned 18 months old on Monday and I’ve been trying to wrap my mind around it ever since! This age is so much fun and I cannot WAIT until Christmas. He is going to love all of his presents and be so excited this year.
Landon went as Mickey Mouse for Halloween this year! He is obsessed with Mickey (it’s hereditary) so it was the perfect costume! Last year he was still so, so little and of course – he really didn’t care! But this year- ah – he was into it! It was fun! We thought about putting him in the stroller but in the end we decided to just hold his hand and let him enjoy himself! He pretty much figured out what the whole thing was about right away – strangers telling him he’s cute and giving him things. Though I don’t think he fully grasped the concept of candy, he did understand that he needed to run up and get something to put in his bag. Haha!
