Hey friends! Today I am sharing one of my all time favorite recipes to make in the crock pot – Lima Beans & Ham with Rice! My Mom made this for me while I was growing up all of the time and it is just a delicious/easy/inexpensive meal to throw together.

I am posting the “official” recipe given to me but check out the video to see how I kind of wing it and do my own thing. This really is one of those recipes you can make your own depending on your taste! In this video I used pre-packaged fully cooked cubed ham, browned it up a bit with the onions and garlic, and threw it in with the beans and just enough water to cover everything. After Thanksgiving I used some of the left over honey ham I had and threw everything into the crockpot with chicken broth. It is easily adaptable!

I have been using Wal-Mart Grocery Delivery lately and I’m loving it. If you would like to try it out click here! You’ll get $10 off and I will too! I have the Wal-Mart Grocery app on my phone and I shop directly from there. It has made meal planning a snap because I can toggle back and forth between a recipe and add each thing to my cart in order. On top of that, repeat orders are made simple by checking out my previous order or browsing through my favorites. I have a Wal-Mart Delivery Grocery Haul video coming up soon so stay tuned for that!
